Abstract: Disclosed is a medical image output system including: a medical image conversion apparatus to convert a file format of medical image data including received medical image information and patient character information and to transfer it; and a medical image formation apparatus to form an image of the transferred medical image data, wherein the medical image conversion apparatus includes: a reception section; a storage section to store a template; a conversion section to convert the template in accordance with an aspect ratio of the medical image information; a template data generation section; and a transfer section to transfer the template data to the medical image formation apparatus, and wherein the medical image formation apparatus includes: a template data conversion section to convert the template data to have an aspect ratio of the original template; and an image formation member to form an image onto the recording medium.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To always obtain printed matter having an expected hue before recording by providing an image signal converting means performing the conversion of an image signal in an image signal processing means corresponding to the kind of a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The kind of a fabric is inputted in S 901 and, in the case of a preliminarily registered fabric, the conversion table fitted to the stored kind of the fabric is selected in S 903. When a fabric of which the kind is not registered is used as a recording medium in S 902, a provisional conversion table is selected in S 904 and an image signal is converted by an image conversion means using the selected table and the printing of a predetermined pattern is applied to the fabric to be used. Printed matter passed through a whole treatment process of printing under a definite condition is read in S 906 and the correction data to the preset provisional conversion table is calculated on the basis of a detection result in S 907 to perform the correction of the conversion table and a new conversion table fitted to the kind of each fabric is formed in S 908.

Abstract: An image converter and a method for converting a first image signal including a plurality of pixel data to a second image signal including a plurality of pixel data. Particularly, an image converter and an image conversion method, since a class top or a prediction tap from image slicing is controlled in accordance with a feature quantity indicating the quantity of blur of imputted image data, optimum pixel data can be extracted as a class tap or a prediction tap and appropriate predictive processing can be carried out even when the inputted image data have a poor image quality.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense need to recalculate a map for an image conversion on a correction process of an attachment error, and to markedly reduce the number of maps prepared for image corrections, in advance. SOLUTION: A camera system detects attachment position offsets ΔX, ΔY, θ of a camera (S1), and from among a plurality of rotational correction maps prepared in advance, based on this detected optical axis rotational direction offset θ, the rotational correction map closest to the optical axis rotational direction offset θ is selected (S2). Next, a lens center X shift amount X1, a lens center Y shift amount Y1, an image cutout position X shift amount X2 and an image cutout position Y shift amount Y2 are calculated by use of the X directional offset ΔX and the Y directional offset ΔY (S3). A calibration process is carried out, based on the calculated values of X1, X2, Y1, Y2 and information of the rotational correction map, while the image of a predetermined output range is cutout (S5). Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmitter, having a data structure suitable for receiving the image diagnosis requests and also to provide a shadow viewer of received images, which can display the images convenient for a receiver of the image diagnosis request. SOLUTION: An image conversion part 3 for an encoding transmitter 1 divides medical image data of CT, MRI, etc., into areas and also outputs a file that is produced through the hierarchical encoding. A request file production part 4 produces a request file serving as a higher rank hierarchy of hierarchical structure for DICOM regarding the image data. A viewer program execution part 14 of a viewer terminal 11 accesses the encoded image file stored in a local HD 13 and a request file, and shows a request file selection screen at a display part 15. Thus, a physician who receives diagnostic request can readily find out a specific request, that includes the requested study and also can readily select the study for the next patient.
