Abstract: The invention relates to a vanishing point detection and image correction method. The method comprises the following steps: S1, carrying out straight line detection in an image space and converting the straight line into points in a dual space for expression; S2, carrying out primary classification and secondary clustering on the dual points of a vanishing point at least one direction; S3, carrying out fitting on the dual points of each class respectively by using a random sample concensus algorithm to obtain at least one straight line, thereby obtaining the vanishing point; and S4, carrying out twisting correction processing on the image according to the vanishing point. According to the invention, the vanishing point in the image can be detected rapidly and accurately, thereby finding a position relation between image obtaining equipment and a scene; and a homography matrix of image conversion is calculated by utilizing the vanishing point, thereby carrying out visual angle correction on the image.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for systematically and accurately evaluating the visibility of all objects to be evaluated. SOLUTION: An image conversion method includes: a decomposition process for carrying out wavelet decomposition for extracting a plurality of spatial frequency components included in an image; an arithmetic process for calculating the primary differential amounts showing the change rate of spatial frequency components in each pixel of each of the extracted plurality of spatial frequency components; and a generation process for generating a visibility evaluation image showing the evaluation of the way of being visible with the eyes of a person by carrying out wavelet composition by using the primary differential amounts of each of the plurality of the spatial frequency components. Abstract: PURPOSE:To immediately display scenery changes caused by the various changes of interior layout by respectively previously controlling and storing a program and data for executing image conversion corresponding to the contents of a basic image memory. CONSTITUTION:A three-dimensional image is prepared from a draft drawing 1 by a three-dimensional drawing preparing means 2 and stored in a basic image memory 3. Next, concerning a color change 41 in the case of image conversion due to an image converter 4, the colors of interior goods are changed and that scenery is displayed. Concerning a material change 42, the scenery change is displayed from the color changes of materials. On the other hand, the positions of selected furniture are fixed and displayed by a furniture layout change 43, and the scenery change caused by the changes of four seasons or weathers is displayed by a photovoltaic change 44. Further, a change caused by artificial light for illumination is displayed by an artificial light change 45, and conditions to be changed with the positions of the eyes of an observer are displayed by a view change 46. Each time, these changes are inputted to an image memory 5 after conversion, they are displayed by a display means 6.

Abstract: In this paper, we describe a new buffer architecture called the Compositing Buffer. Although it is based on the A-buffer architecture described by Carpenter1, the new architecture introduces two important ideas which make image generation more flexible. The first idea is the storing of bitmask index instead of the bitmask. This allows accurate images to be generated while at the same time, minimising memory usage. The second idea is the introduction of the concept of dynamic object. This allows images to be edited interactively. Applications of the two ideas will also be discussed in the paper.

Abstract: The invention discloses a digital photo frame comprising a detection module for detecting movement of the digital photo frame generated under external operation and outputting corresponding detection information, an information processing module for generating movement information based on the detection information and generating a control signal for controlling images or conversion of video files, a control module for responding the control signal and controlling the images or conversion of video files displayed on a display module, and the display module for displaying the images or video files. The invention also discloses an image conversion method of the digital photo frame. With the invention, rotation and replacement of the image in the digital photo frame is independent of operation for pressing keys and displaying menus, the operation is simple and convenient for user usage.
