TL;DR: In this paper, a means which enables image conversion in which a plurality of conversion results can be output without once saving all of video-image data, which has been input from image-pickup means, in a storage medium is provided.
Abstract: Means which enables image conversion in which a plurality of conversion results can be output without once saving all of video-image data, which has been input from image-pickup means, in a storage medium is provided A single line memory having a plurality of lines is used while switching the role thereof for a reading use by a video-image converting means and a use for inputting image data from the image-pickup means The image converting means obtains an input image, which is in the line memory, and carries out conversion of the input image based on a conversion specifying means interpreted by an instruction decoder

TL;DR: In this article, a bottom-up visual selective attention model was adopted to obtain image intensity, color and direction feature patterns from an input image through Gaussian pyramids and a "center-surround" operator.
Abstract: The invention relates to a mixed digital image halftoning method based on a significance visual attention model, and belongs to the technical field of image processing. The method is characterized by adopting a bottom-up visual selective attention model, and carrying out calculation to obtain image intensity, color and direction feature patterns from an input image through Gaussian pyramids and a "center-surround" operator; carrying out normalization on the feature patterns to enable the feature patterns to be superposed into a total significance pattern, and extracting regions of interest (ROIs) of the image; carrying out image halftoning on the images in the ROIs through a model-based weighted least square halftone iteration method; carrying out halftone image conversion in non regions-of-interest (NROI) through a tone-based error diffusion method, and carrying out halftone parallel computing in the two regions of the image; and objectively evaluating digital image halftoning performance through a quality evaluation method based on the selective attention model, and analyzing algorithm complexity to obtain an optimum halftone image.

TL;DR: In this paper, a gradable block-based virtual viewpoint image drawing method is proposed, which is characterized by dividing a color image into a plurality of blocks with different sizes in a self-adapting way according to the smoothness of a depth image of a reference viewpoint.
Abstract: The invention discloses a gradable block-based virtual viewpoint image drawing method which is characterized by comprising the following steps: dividing a color image into a plurality of blocks with different sizes in a self-adapting way according to the smoothness of a depth image of a reference viewpoint; for a whole mapping type block, only needing to carry out three-dimensional image conversion on one pixel point in the block to determine the coordinate mapping relation for projecting the pixel point from the color image into a virtual viewpoint color image, and then, projecting the whole block into the virtual viewpoint color image by using the coordinate mapping relation, wherein because the three-dimensional image conversion is only carried out on one pixel point, the drawing speed of the whole mapping type block can be effectively improved; and for sequential pixel mapping type blocks, because the blocks are mainly positioned in the boundary regions of an object and a background, still mapping each pixel point in the blocks into the virtual viewpoint color image by using a sequential pixel mapping type three-dimensional image conversion method, thereby effectively ensuring the drawing precision

TL;DR: In this article, a brain function measuring apparatus consisting of a transcranial brain activity data acquisition part 11 and a synthetic image display part 13 was proposed to perform significant data comparison without performing complicated three-dimensional arithmetic processing of the entire brain.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform significant data comparison without performing the complicated three-dimensional arithmetic processing of the entire brain in a transcranial brain function measuring apparatus. SOLUTION: This brain function measuring apparatus comprises: a transcranial brain activity data acquisition part 11 for determining the detection position of brain activity data with the shape of the cranial surface 21 of a patient as a reference and acquiring the brain activity data at the detection position; a brain image data acquisition part 12 for attaining the correspondence of the position relation of the cranial surface and a brain surface at the time of sampling the brain activity data by the transcranial brain activity data acquisition part 11 and acquiring brain image data; and a synthetic image display part 13 for forming a brain surface image on the basis of the brain image data, forming a brain activity image on the basis of the brain activity data, and forming and displaying synthetic images for which the brain surface image and the brain activity image are superimposed. The synthetic image display part 13 is provided with an image conversion processing part 14 for performing image conversion to enlarge and reduce the synthetic image with a feature point on the brain surface determined on the basis of the brain image data as a reference, the synthetic image is enlarged and reduced with the feature point as the reference, and the significant comparison of the brains with each other is made possible. TL;DR: In this paper, the distortion of a projected image caused depending on an installed position of an image projection part with respect to a projected face is corrected by converting the projected face to the original face.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct distortion of a projected image caused depending on an installed position of an image projection part with respect to a projected face SOLUTION: Information with respect to an angle ϕ between an original image face 101 on which an image being a projection object exists and a projected face 102 on which the image of the projection object is actually projected, is received and the image being the projection object is converted on the basis of the received information with respect to the angle ϕ The converted image is projected onto the projected face 102 via an optical system
