TL;DR: In this paper, an image signal composed of continuous frames is inputted into an image data generation device by one frame and a control unit is designed to specify the presence/absence of shrinkage, the presence or absence of combination and 2D selection.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that various schemes are available as methods for displaying a three-dimensional image and the format of three-dimensional image data to be provided varies according to each scheme, nevertheless a three-dimensional display scheme for which the data have been recorded cannot be discriminated only by a recorded data file. SOLUTION: An image signal composed of continuous frames is inputted into an image data generation device by one frame. A control unit 102 designates the presence/absence of shrinkage, the presence/absence of combination and 2D selection. An image conversion unit 101 generates image data in a form designated by the presence/absence of shrinkage and the presence/absence of combination. A 3D information generation unit 103 provides formats for the presence/absence of shrinkage, the presence/absence of combination and 2D selection, and generates 3D information necessary for displaying an image as a three-dimensional image. A multiplexing unit 104 converts the image data and the 3D information into a prescribed format and outputs to an external. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI

TL;DR: In this article, a 360-degree image conversion processing apparatus is presented, which includes a spherical surface image output device, a split-plane transformed image creation device 20, and a display device 30.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a wide-range image showing a wider range than images taken with normal cameras, while transforming the wide-range image into a desired plane image at high speed. SOLUTION: This 360-degree image conversion processing apparatus 1 includes a spherical surface image output device 10, a split-plane transformed image creation device 20, and a display device 30. The spherical surface image output device 10 acquires an image of a wider range than images taken with normal cameras, transforms the acquired image data to stick it to a virtual spherical surface as part of a full spherical surface image, and outputs it as spherical surface image data being stuck to the virtual spherical surface. The split-plane transformed image creation device 20 designates a certain point on the virtual spherical surface and causes the spherical surface image data outputted from the spherical surface image output device to be projected and transformed into a desired plane making contact with the designated certain point on the virtual spherical surface to create not less than one or two plane images. The display device 30 causes the not less than one or two plane images created by the split-plane transformed image creation device 20 to be displayed in not less than one or two display devices. TL;DR: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus for allowing stereoscopic visualization on Xray images of an object under examination includes at least a stereoscopic x-ray tube, a deflection coil type Xray image intensifier, and a single television camera as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus for allowing stereoscopic visualization on X-ray images of an object under examination includes at least a stereoscopic X-ray tube, a deflection coil type X-ray image intensifier, and a single television camera. The right-viewed and left-viewed X-ray visual images are alternately output from the image intensifier with a given deviation between centers of those images. Those visual images are alternately incident upon the respective image conversion regions of the TV camera, whereby the electrical scanning is also done alternately for each of the image conversion regions so as to prevent the after-image effect.

TL;DR: In this article, a vehicle in which a camera is installed at the rear end of the body is arranged at the center of parking sections divided by two parallel white lines, and one-end points of the respective white lines are set within a visual field of the camera.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the deviation of an image when a camera is installed in a vehicle in such a state that the camera is deviated from the center of the rear part of the vehicle, or the optical axial direction of the camera is deviated from the traveling direction of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A vehicle in which a camera is installed at the rear end of the body is arranged at the center of parking sections divided by two parallel white lines, and one-end points of the respective white lines are set within a visual field of the camera. While the vehicle is traveling forward, first and second images for calibration are acquired from the camera at mutually different first and second spots, and two end points are detected as total four featured points P1a, P1b, P2a and P2b from each image for calibration. An image conversion parameter for matching a body center line 232 with an image center line 231 is calculated based on coordinate values of the four featured points on each image for calibration, and an output image is acquired by using the image conversion parameter.
