TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method to enable inter exchange of image information among many different terminal devices by converting a file format and protocol for image communication of a caller by means of an image processing system so that the format and protocols may be matched to those of a callee.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable inter exchange of image information among many different terminal devices by converting a file format and protocol for image communication of a caller by means of an image processing system so that the format and protocol may be matched to those of a callee. CONSTITUTION: When image communication from a caller 18 is inputted to a network image processing node 12 of a network image transmitting and processing system 10, a transmission file format and a protocol of the caller 18 are compared with those of a callee 20, and when they match with each other, a communication channel is directly established. When they do not match, an image conversion key server 16 converts the necessary image format and protocol so that the format and protocol may become adaptive to those of the callee 20, and connects the image communication to the callee 20. It is also possible to cumulatively transfer the image data after temporarily storing the data in a memory. In addition, the transmission of the image data can be determined by using an in-band or out-of-band signal method by checking the image format and protocol in a data base 14 at the time of establishing the communication.

TL;DR: In this article, an image processing method, a module, which functions by parameters organized with kinds of the image contents, file names of original images, and presence or absence of photograph realistic images, prepares an optimal image conversion instruction to the portable device terminal while comparing information in the Portable Device terminal which are transmitted from the user agent requesting image display and are obtained from a user agent.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow image contents prepared irrespectively with specifications of a portable device terminal to be viewed in an optimal format via each portable device terminal, and to prepare a single web page without being affected by the portable device terminals SOLUTION: In an image processing method, a module, which functions by parameters organized with kinds of the image contents, file names of original images, and presence or absence of photograph realistic images, prepares an optimal image conversion instruction to the portable device terminal while comparing information in the portable device terminal which are transmitted from the portable device terminal requesting image display and are obtained from a user agent While transmitting the image conversion instruction to an image server, the images are converted into image contents optimal to the specifications such as image sizes and image capacity in the portable device terminal and are displayed on a screen of the portable device terminal COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

TL;DR: In this paper, the frequencies of pixel values are successively compared from the through part side of the large image values for the previously read images by the histogram of the digital image data on the breast obtd. by previous reading.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain images having excellent diagnosability to a region not irradiated with radiations by discriminating a subject part formed by transmission of the radiations through a subject, a through part formed without being shielded by the subject and a shielding part not irradiated with the radiations, extracting the subject image data and subjecting the data to image processing. CONSTITUTION: The frequencies of pixel values are successively compared from the through part side of the large image values for the previously read images by the histogram of the digital image data on the breast obtd. by previous reading. Consequently, there are the through part of a steep one peak and the pixel value region of broad width. These parts are the skin. There are then the lungfield, the cardiodiaphragm and the mediastinal septum in order of the larger pixel values. The final peak is the part of a radiation protector. The pixel value regions to be subjected to image processing, etc., including the through part and the subject transmission part are selected by detecting these peaks. The regulation of the tube voltage of a photoelectric converter prior to normal reading and the gain adjustment of an amplifier before input to an A/D converter are executed. TL;DR: In this paper, a system for distributing a server to a terminal composed of a portable telephone of a user via a network 20 and a radio base station was proposed, where the server comprises a reservation information database 100 for storing reservation information of a greeting mail, an advertisement combining portion 150 for combining information converted in an image conversion portion 160 for converting a motion image to be an image format displayable on the portable telephone terminal and advertisement information stored in the advertisement database 120, and data of the motion image player 130.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image distribution system for distributing a motion image to a portable telephone terminal not provided with a motion picture display function. SOLUTION: A system for distributing a server to a terminal 50 composed of a portable telephone of a user via a network 20 and a radio base station. The server comprises a reservation information database 100 for storing reservation information of a greeting mail, an advertisement combining portion 150 for combining information converted in an image conversion portion 160 for converting a motion image to be an image format displayable on the portable telephone terminal and advertisement information stored in the advertisement database 120, and data of a motion image player 130. TL;DR: In this paper, a super multi-view three-dimensional display system of an integrated imaging system is described, where an elemental image conversion step is included between the image acquisition step and the image reproduction step.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a super multi-view three-dimensional display system of an integrated imaging system, and a method for converting a three-dimensional image display depth. More specifically, the present invention relates to a super multi-view three-dimensional display system of an integrated imaging system, and a method for converting a three-dimensional image display depth, characterized in that a lens array mounted during an image reproduction step is configured in a smaller size compared to a lens array mounted during an image acquisition step, and in that an elemental image conversion step is included between the image acquisition step and the image reproduction step, the elemental image conversion step for converting the size of an elemental image acquired through the lens array in the image acquisition step to fit the size of the lens array in the image reproduction step and converting the depth of the elemental image. As stated above, through the elemental image conversion step, it is possible to solve a fundamental depth reversal problem in an integrated imaging device scheme and to reconstruct a three-dimensional image without distortion.
