TL;DR: In this paper, a system and a method for cracking down on illegal vehicles using a stereo camera is provided to detect the vehicle using a depth map without removing a surrounding lane, and a violation determining unit(140) determines whether the vehicle violates traffic regulations or not.
Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for cracking down on illegal vehicles using a stereo camera are provided to detect the vehicle using a depth map without removing a surrounding lane. CONSTITUTION: A stereo camera unit(110) includes two cameras. The two cameras take a photograph of an image of vehicles. A control module unit(120) controls the operation and the illumination of the camera. An image conversion unit(130) converts the photographed image into an image with depth information. A violation determining unit(140) determines whether the vehicle violates traffic regulations or not. TL;DR: In this article, the degradation state of the fluorescent body in the stimulable phosphor layer was detected in a radiation image conversion panel, and the degradation was detected by fastening latent image regression and guaranteeing good utilization state.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image conversion panel, its cassette and a radiation image reader capable of detecting in advance the problems of degrading of radiation sensitivity caused by degradation of stimulable phosphor body and of S/N ratio due to fastening latent image regression and guaranteeing good utilization state. SOLUTION: The radiation image conversion panel has a stimulable phosphor layer and a function for judging the degradation state of the fluorescent body in the stimulable phosphor layer.

TL;DR: In this article, the problem of obtaining a plane image obtained by directing a virtual sight line vector of the user in an optional direction from a source image obtained from one exposure through the use of one camera is solved.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plane image obtained by directing a virtual sight line vector of the user in an optional direction from a source image obtained from one exposure through the use of one camera. SOLUTION: A read section 6 reads a still image from a camera 1 or a moving image from a video camera 4, a field angle calculation section 7 and a visual field range calculation section 8 calculate a field angle and the range of visual field segmented from the image based on a direction and zooming designated by the user, and a coordinate conversion section 9 relates all points in the range of visual field to correspond to the read image. The attribute of picture elements at each point is mapped to a point corresponding to the range of visual field as corresponding transformation, a visual field range display section 10 obtains the image signal subject to coordinate transformation as a display signal for a CRT 11 and the plane image in an optional direction and at the visual field range is obtained through one exposure by one camera or a frame image.

TL;DR: In this article, a single fixed camera image sequence-based moving target splicing method was proposed, which consists of detecting out a foreground region and/or a background region in an input image sequence of a single camera, identifying whether the foreground region in the image is a foreground formed by moving targets or a foreground comprising the moving targets, and then taking an image frame comprising a moving target region as a target image frame for splicing input images.
Abstract: The invention relates to a single fixed camera image sequence-based moving target splicing method. The method comprises the following steps of detecting out a foreground region and/or a background region in an input image sequence of a single fixed camera; identifying whether the foreground region in an image is a foreground region formed by moving targets or a foreground region comprising the moving targets; taking an input image frame comprising a moving target region as a target image frame for splicing input images; correcting and/or removing distortion of the moving target region; extracting image features of the moving target region and performing feature matching; and according to a matching result and a corresponding matching relationship, calculating image conversion parameters, and performing image splicing of the moving target region to form a complete moving target image. The moving targets can be spliced; the complete moving target image is formed by splicing the local images comprising the moving targets and shot at different moments by the single camera; and the method adapts to occasions of bayonet video monitoring and the like.

TL;DR: In this paper, the development and performance of a transistor scanned solid state ultrasonic image converter are described and the results of investigations into various applicable signal processing techniques to produce visible pictures are presented.
Abstract: The development and performance of a transistor scanned solid state ultrasonic image converter are described and the results of investigations into various applicable signal processing techniques to produce visible pictures are presented, The general requirements of an ultrasonic imaging system are considered and this is followed by a critical survey of the more sensitive ultrasonic image conversion methods. The operation and basic performance of the transistor scanned converter are discussed and its resolution and sensitivity investigated , resulting in an apparent practical limit to the resolution in. the image plane of ⅓ mm, and an estimated limiting sensitivity of approximately 10-13 W cm-2. Possible methods for the fabrication of a multielement converter are suggested and discussed. Three signal processing techniques are investigated and compared; ;that using an acoustic lens in a conventional camera arrangement, an on-line computer which effectively performs electrically the function of a lens, and a scanned array Doppler system on which only a feasibility study was carried out. It is argued that if flexibility is important then the computer "lens" is the most fitting method, and results for both near field focusing and far field beam deflection are presented) although at the moment.in 1-dimension only , A relatively simple extension to the program will make 2-dimensional image reconstruction possible.. The Doppler system described provides a simple electrical method of determining the range and bearing of far field targets and results adequately confirm the developed theory.
