Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the matter of a device for displaying data from an externally connected personal computer on a display monitor under a state where the display monitor is connected with a stand otherwise displaying a broadcast program that since displaying a high-definition video image of a digital broadcast or the like is not assumed, power consumption is big if the high-definition video image is displayed by radio and thereby it can be viewed/listened only for a short time. SOLUTION: This inventive technology displays a high-definition video image on a display monitor when the display monitor is connected with a stand otherwise performs image conversion (from HD video image to SD video image) on the stand side and displays a video image of standard definition transmitted by radio on the display monitor. Abstract: The present invention relates to an image-processing apparatus and to an image-processing method for generating a wide angle image. According to the present invention, a wide angle image, which covers a wide-range field of view, can be obtained at a relatively low cost. According to the present invention, a process of correcting distortions of images caused by a lens, a process of projecting, onto a plane, an image of a subject contained in images, and an image conversion process of combining a plurality of images received from a plurality of cameras so as to obtain a single wide angle image, can all be performed at once through a single image processing using a single look-up table, thereby enabling the quicker output of images.

SOLUTION: This radiation image conversion panel has a phosphor layer containing a stimulable phosphor and a light reflecting layer formed on its one surface, and is characterized by that the scattering length of the phosphor layer to excitation light for exciting the stimulable phosphor and to emission light from the stimulable phosphor is in the range of 5-20 μm, and the scattering length of the light reflecting layer to the excitation light is not more than 5 μm. This application includes a method for reading radiation image information from the radiation image conversion panel by using excitation light having excitation energy so as to set luminous energy of the emission light to 10-90 % of a saturated level. Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate an error factor from a position detecting process and ensure the high accuracy of position detection by converting the photographed image of the recognition mark of a measurement object to a binary coded image, and obtaining the center of gravity thereof within the specified range. CONSTITUTION:The recognition mark of a measurement object is phototographed with a camera 1, and the image thereof is converted to a binary coded image via a binary coded image conversion and processing means 2, and introduced to the first rectangular zone gravity center operation and processing means 3. Also, the first rectangular zone setting and processing means 4 for determining the first rectangular zone is connected to the means 3. In this case, X-Y coordinates showing the gravity center position of the binary coded image within the first rectangular zone are outputted from the means 3 and inputted to the second rectangular zone shift processing means 5. This means 5 obtains the second rectangular zone via the second rectangular zone setting and processing means 6, using the inputted X-Y coordinates as a median. Furthermore, the X-Y coordinates showing the gravity center position of the binary coded image in the second rectangular zone are outputted from the second rectangular zone gravity center operation and processing means 7, as a position detected for the recognition mark.
