Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing a VR digital comic learning image. The method comprises the steps of: generating a development figure by converting a cube image inside a cube in which a three-dimensional space is expressed into a two-dimensional image by an image conversion unit of a service server; and generating a two-dimensional distorted image by converting the development figure so that the development figure becomes an image in a 360 degree direction based on one direction viewed from the center of the three-dimensional space by a distorted image generating unit of the service server. By providing three-dimensional space sense to a user, the user is provided with a leaning effect related to a VR image creation.

Abstract: In order to reduce aliasing as much as possible in a display apparatus (100) that has a delta arrangement type screen (60), an image filter for performing a neighborhood operation is incorporated as a previous stage of a screen driving circuit (70). The image filter realizes low pass filtering including space frequency limitation in the diagonal direction that is suitable for a display on the delta arrangement type screen (60). Coefficients that constitute the filter matrix are optimised so that frequency components that exceed a Nyquist limit in the delta arrangement are suppressed. Coefficients that give optimal filter characteristics for any scale of filter matrix are defined by an expression.

Abstract: An image encoding device (10) comprises: a division unit (11) for obtaining a depth image; a depth value distribution creation unit (13) for creating the distribution of the numbers of occurrences of the depth values in the depth image obtained by the division unit (11); a pixel classification unit (14) for dividing the depth value distribution created by the depth value distribution creation unit (13) into a plurality of sections according to the continuity of the depth values of the distribution and determining a representative value of each section of the depth value distribution; and a depth value conversion unit (16) for converting the depth values included in each section of the depth value distribution divided by the pixel classification unit (14) into the representative value and thereby converting the depth image.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically convert a color image mainly consisting of characters and symbols into a black/white image where the characters and the symbols do not disappear in the background. SOLUTION: A color.black/white conversion function section 13 converts all pixels of a color image file 12 into black/white pixels by using conversion functions F1-Fn to obtain black/white pixels from combinations of color components of color pixels and stores the black/white pixels to black/white image files 1-n. An image compression function section 16 compresses the black/ white images of each file and stores the compressed image to compressed image files 1-n. An image selection function section 18 selects the compressed image with a maximum file size and transmits the selected compression image to a print signal output device 2. The output device 2 restares the received compression image into the black/white image and outputs it into a printer 3. Thus, recognition of characters or the like can be optimized by selecting black/white image data that are converted by using any of the conversion functions F1-Fn so as to obtain a largest difference between pixels of characters or the like and pixels of the background.

It is possible to combine a camera image and operation resource information and output the same through an external video output device.
