Abstract: The invention discloses an intelligent image recognition control system for an electric water heater. The intelligent image recognition control system is mainly formed by a central processing unit, an infrared camera, and a flow sensor, a data storage device, a voice broadcaster, a heater, a display, a power source and a temperature sensor which are all connected with the central processing unit. The intelligent image recognition control system is characterized in that an image receiving processing circuit is connected in series between the infrared camera and the central processing unit; the image receiving processing circuit is formed by an image receiving amplifying circuit connected with the infrared camera and an image conversion amplifying circuit connected with the image receiving amplifying circuit; and the output terminal of the image conversion amplifying circuit is connected with the central processing unit. The intelligent image recognition control system for an electric water heater can provide hot water with different temperatures according to different users.

Abstract: With the current trend of digital convergence in mobile phones, mobile manufacturers are researching how to develop a mobile beam-projector to cope with the limitations of a small screen size and to offer a better feeling of movement while watching movies or satellite broadcasting. However, mobile beam-projectors may project an image on arbitrary surfaces, such as a colored wall and paper, not on a white screen mainly used in an office environment. Thus, color correction method for the projected image is proposed to achieve good image quality irrespective of the surface colors. Initially, luminance values of original image transformed into the YCbCr space are changed to compensate for spatially nonuniform luminance distribution of arbitrary surface, depending on the pixel values of surface image captured by mobile camera. Next, the chromaticity values for each surface and white-screen image are calculated using the ratio of the sum of three RGB values to one another. Then their chromaticity ratios are multiplied by converted original image through an inverse YCbCr matrix to reduce an influence of modulating the appearance of projected image due to spatially different reflectance on the surface. By projecting corrected original image on a texture pattern or single color surface, the image quality of projected image can be improved more, as well as that of projected image on white screen.

The image conversion method includes: performing word area detection on an image to acquire a detected word area; and performing conversion processing on the image according to the word area to acquire a converted image that has an aspect ratio different from that of an unconverted image. The conversion device includes: a detection unit, configured to perform word area detection on an image to acquire a detected word area; and a conversion unit, configured to perform conversion processing on the image according to the word area to acquire a converted image that has an aspect ratio different from that of an unconverted image. In this way, an important content area of the image may be retained and clearly displayed.
