Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute color conversion for keeping the intention of the design of an original image. SOLUTION: This color scheme providing device 10 and a color scheme providing method in the device are used for converting a color of an acquired image by using conversion indexes being color characteristics for carrying out image conversion and a new index different from the conversion indexes. In the color scheme providing device 10 and the color scheme providing method, values of the conversion indexes are calculated from colors of the image based on the conversion indexes. The values of the conversion indexes are ranked, the new index is divided in the same number as the number of ranks of the conversion indexes, and values of the divided new indexes are ranked. The values of the conversion indexes are replaced with the values of the new indexes so that the ranks of the values of the conversion indexes correspond to those of the new indexes. A reference value is defined from the values of the conversion indexes, and a calculated value is converted to the value of the new index based on the reference value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

Abstract: A server for generating a three-dimensional image and a method for generating a stereoscopic image may convert a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional image by using a general editing program instead of using an expensive image conversion program and system. Specifically, the present invention provides the server and the method efficiently convert a two-dimensional image into three-dimensional image through frame analysis, depth map extraction, and image effect addition functions of the two-dimensional image. The server and the method enable the two-dimensional image to be converted into the three-dimensional image without using an expensive imported image conversion program. In addition, the server and the method may reduce the amount of time and labor required for image dimensional conversion.

Abstract: The invention relates to an English learning system based on augmented reality technology, the system comprising AR glasses, an image collector, a mini-projector and a central controller. The AR technology is applied to the English learning system; by collecting an image of an actual object and comparing the collected image with an object image stored in the system, the information of the currentobject can be identified after successful matching; then the Chinese name and the English word of the object corresponding to the object information are extracted from the system; the Chinese name andthe English word of the object are subjected to image conversion so that a virtual display object is obtained; the virtual display object is directly displayed on the AR glasses based on real scenes.The association between graphs and English words is realized, so that the system can perform teaching in any actual scenes, the limitations of conventional study modes are overcome and the study efficiency is improved.

Abstract: A plurality of parameters constituting a predetermined illumination equation giving a luminance to each of pixels in an image are acquired (S10). For each of the parameters, a homogeneous area formed by pixels having similar values of the parameter is identified (S20). For each parameter, according to the content of image conversion, the parameter conversion processing is performed for each of the identified homogenous areas (S30). By using each of the parameters after the conversion, luminance of each of pixels in a second image is obtained (S40).
