Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an apparent positional deviation by devising image processing.SOLUTION: A positional deviation amount calculation unit 33 calculates a deviation amount due to skew of a continuous sheet WP. A positional deviation interpolation image conversion unit 35 performs weighting on the basis of the surplus when the surplus related to the deviation amount exists, performs small weighting smaller than weighting to an image without the surplus that is adjacent to the image with the surplus to convert the image into a positional deviation interpolation image deviating in accordance with the skew of the continuous sheet WP. Since weighting according to the surplus is performed, an apparent positional deviation can be sufficiently suppressed even with any skew amount. Since the image adjacent to the image subjected to weighting out of the images without the surplus that do not need deviation originally is converted into the positional deviation interpolation image subjected to small weighting, the boundary is not conspicuous, and reduction in the printing quality can be suppressed even using the positional deviation interpolation image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document generation device for generating a print which allows for easy generation of a searchable file and reduction in the size of the file, and a searchable file generation device which generates a searchable file from the print.SOLUTION: A document generation device 100 generates a print 10 having a text display surface on which a document image 30 based on document data is displayed, and an auxiliary material display surface on which is displayed an auxiliary image 50 having auxiliary data containing at least part of the document data converted into a code image. The document generation device 100 includes auxiliary data generation means 310 for generating the auxiliary data from the document data, and image conversion means 320 for generating image data of an auxiliary image from the auxiliary data generated by the auxiliary data generation means. A text sheet 20 and the document image 30 of the print 10 are read by a searchable file generation device 400 consisting of a computer 500 and a MFP 600, and a searchable file consisting of the document image and the auxiliary data is generated.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cleaning method for a radiation image conversion panel provided with a phosphor layer on a substrate and a protective layer disposed on the phosphor layer. The cleaning method is characterized in cleaning a surface of the protective layer by moving a cleaning member with pressure in the range from not less than 1mN/cm2 to not larger than 1N/cm2 applied, so that it can provide a cleaning method for a radiation image conversion panel in which an image information reading-out method without damaging the radiation image conversion panel can read out image information with less image defects and dispersion.

Abstract: A memory control unit 12 divides input image data into: a first block having the pixel data of a prescribed number of pixels for a plurality of lines in a line direction; a second block having the pixel data of a prescribed number of pixels for a plurality of lines, including some lines of the first block, that follow the first block in the line direction; and a third block having the pixel data of a prescribed number of pixels for a plurality of lines, including lines in the first block that are different from lines included in the second block, that follow in the line direction. The memory control unit 12 causes the divided blocks to be stored in a memory unit 13. An arithmetic processing unit 15 calculates an interpolation position that is a position before image conversion corresponding to a pixel position after image conversion. The memory control unit 12 reads the first to third blocks of pixel data, including the pixel data of pixels surrounding the interpolation position, from the memory unit 13. An interpolation processing unit 14 generates pixel data at the interpolation position through interpolation processing using the surrounding pixels that have been read out. The processing speed of image processing can be improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of reducing an information amount to be used for converting a display format of an image. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a specification means for specifying the number of reference colors to be used for expressing colors composing an image; a reading means for reading out dependent color information expressing colors by reference colors depending on an image input device for entering the image or an image output device to output the image and independent color information expressing colors by reference colors independent from the image input device and the image output device from a secondary storage device to a primary storage device by mutually associating the dependent color information with the independent color information both of which express colors by the reference colors; and an image conversion means for converting the image expressed by the dependent color information into an image expressed by the independent color information read out by the reading means. Consequently, an information amount for converting the display format of the image from the dependent color information into the independent color information can be reduced.
