Abstract: A control device (18) acquires a captured rearward image of a rearward camera (12), and performs mirror image conversion. Furthermore, the control device (18) acquires a captured peripheral image of a peripheral camera (14), cuts out, from the captured peripheral image, an area corresponding to the captured rearward image of the rearward camera (12), and performs viewpoint conversion and mirror image conversion. Moreover, the control device (18) compares each of the captured images which have been subjected to mirror image conversion, extracts the same point (an obstacle) in each of the captured images, and derives the distance to the obstacle using the stereo camera principle.

Abstract: In this paper, the 2D/3D converting algorithm is proposed. The single frame of 2D image is used fur the real-time processing of the proposed algorithm. The proposed algorithm creates a 3D image with the depth map by using the vertical position information of a object in a single frame. In order to real-time processing and improve the hardware complexity, it performs the generation of a depth map using the image sampling, the object segmentation with the luminance standardization and the boundary scan. It might be suitable to a still image and a moving image, and it can provide a good 3D effect on a image such as a long distance image, a landscape, or a panorama photo because it uses a vertical position information. The proposed algorithm can adapt a 3D effect to a image without the restrictions of the direction, velocity or scene change of an object. It has been evaluated with the visual test and the comparing to the MTD(Modified Time Difference) method using the APD(Absolute Parallax Difference).

Abstract: The invention provides an automobile data recorder. The automobile data recorder comprises a camera device, a storage module and a controller, the camera device is used for shooting driving images. The storage module is used for storing the driving image shot by the shooting device; the controller is also used for acquiring at least part of the driving images in the storage module and analyzing the at least part of the driving images; when a preset number of continuously appearing similar images exist in the at least part of driving images, determining that the driving images exist, the controller selects at least one of the preset number of similar images as a reference record image and generates text description data of the similar images; and the image conversion data formed by the reference record image and the text description data replaces at least part of the driving image to be stored in the storage module, so that the storage space is saved, and the utilization rate of the storage space is improved.
