TL;DR: In this paper, an aspect ratio conversion section 17 is proposed to convert an image into an image having a different aspect ratio while appearance is maintained, by adding a non-feature part which does not include a configuration characterizing the editing image and extends to both ends in a vertical direction or a lateral direction.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert an image into an image having a different aspect ratio while appearance is maintained.SOLUTION: An aspect ratio conversion section 17 converts an original image into an editing image having the aspect ratio of a screen size of a portable telephone set by adding a non-feature part which does not include a configuration characterizing the editing image and extends to both ends in a vertical direction or a lateral direction. A transmission image creating section 15 extracts a part adapted to the aspect ratio from a photographed image and combines the extracted part and the editing image converted by the aspect ratio conversion section 17 to create a transmission image.

15 Nov 2018TL;DR: In this paper, a color feature amount that is a change amount of color characteristics of each pixel from the input image data and the output image data before and after image conversion is calculated.
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes circuitry to acquire input image data, perform image conversion on the input image data to generate the output image data corresponding to each of a plurality of output conditions, and calculate a color feature amount that is a change amount of color characteristics of each pixel from the input image data and the output image data before and after the image conversion. The circuitry calculates cost information indicating cost of the output image data corresponding to each of the plurality of output conditions, based on the plurality of output conditions and the output image data, and calculates cost effectiveness with reference to the color feature amount, the cost information, and a weighting table in which weights for items of the plurality of output conditions are set, to determine one output condition of the plurality of output conditions to be used for output.

TL;DR: In this paper, a remote visual test device for obtaining video photographed from a view point necessary for a visual test, removing handshake of the video photographed by an image pickup apparatus, and projecting the video to a display device by using a high resolution image in real time.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote visual test device for obtaining video photographed from a view point necessary for a visual test, removing handshake of the video photographed by an image pickup apparatus, and projecting the video to a display device by using a high resolution image in real time.SOLUTION: The remote visual test device includes: an image pickup part 30 for photographing a video of the surface to test while moving; a moving amount calculation part 11 for calculating a moving amount to be a change amount of position and posture of the image pickup part 30; a moving amount memory 12 for storing history of moving amounts; a position estimation part 13 for estimating a convenient position, namely, a position and posture of the image pickup part 30 excellent for remote visual test with a test person, on the basis of the history of moving amounts; and an image conversion part 14 for generating processing image data corresponding to the convenient position by applying geometric transformation to image data on the basis of the convenient position.
