TL;DR: In this article, a density distribution calculating part 201 calculates an original density distribution, based on inputted color image data and sends it to a substrate density level calculating part 202, and produces a density conversion table based on the substrate density levels calculated by the part 202.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent characters from being difficult to read and from being thin, even if substrate density is adjusted and is made thin, for copying them with a high image quality, even at the time of copying an original that has a substrate and also to obtain the same effect with respect to an original that has a rear surface copy. SOLUTION: A density distribution calculating part 201 calculates an original density distribution, based on inputted color image data and sends it to a substrate density level calculating part 202. The part 202 calculates a substrate density level of an original, on the basis of the density distribution calculated by the part 201 and sends it to a density conversion table creating part 203. The part 203 produces a density conversion table based on the substrate density level calculated by the part 202. An image conversion part 204 converts the image density of color image data to be inputted, based on the density conversion table produced by the part 203.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an image conversion method which consists of two steps: obtaining a current image to be processed and inputting the current image into a trained target face image conversion model.
Abstract: The invention relates to an image conversion method. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a current image to be processed, wherein the current image to be processed comprises a face part; inputting the current image to be processed to a trained target face image conversion model, wherein the trained target face image conversion model is used for converting the face part of the inputimage from a first style to a second style, and the trained target face image conversion model is trained by an original face image conversion model and a discrimination network model; and obtaininga target style face image output by the trained target face image conversion model. The image conversion method does not need to label the training samples, and is low in training cost and high in accuracy. Besides, the invention also provides an image conversion device, computer equipment and a storage medium.

TL;DR: In this paper, a progressive scanning converter is used to convert an input image as a first interlaced scanning image having a field frequency of m (m: integer not less than 2) fields/sec.
Abstract: An image conversion apparatus comprises a progressive scanning converter for receiving an input image as a first interlaced scanning image having a field frequency of m (m: integer not less than 2) fields/sec, and converting the first interlaced scanning image into a first progressive scanning image having a frame frequency of m frames/sec; a frame frequency converter for converting the first progressive scanning image into a second progressive scanning image having a frame frequency of n (n: integer not less than 1) frames/second, by thinning the first progressive scanning image in frame units; and an interlaced scanning converter for converting the second progressive scanning image into a second interlaced scanning image having a field frequency of 2 n fields/sec, and outputting the second interlaced scanning image.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a frequency adjustment circuit that attenuates the frequency characteristic of a received video signal much more toward high frequency components in accordance with the band and the S/N of the received video signals.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert an SD image into an HD image with an optional high resolution wherein the enhancement of the frequency characteristic in horizontal and vertical directions is balanced while preventing problems of S/N and preshoot/overshoot. SOLUTION: The frequency adjustment circuit 15 of the image processing apparatus 1 attenuates the frequency characteristic of a received video signal much more toward high frequency components in accordance with the band and the S/N of the received video signal. An image conversion section 20 converts a 525i signal into a 1050i signal whose number of lines is twice that of the 525i signal by carrying out adaptive processing to obtain the predicted value of an HD image through linear combination between an SD image and a prescribed predicted coefficient. In this case, the image conversion section 20 varies the resolution axis intensity so that the frequency characteristic at an output stage is almost made flat. A horizontal/vertical enhancement circuit 22 adjusts the enhancement in the horizontal/vertical directions to balance the enhancement in the horizontal and vertical directions as a whole.
