TL;DR: In this paper, an image processing device that performs a series of image processing to an image on the basis of the input image and outputs the result of the image processing is proposed.
Abstract: To provide an image processing device capable of reducing the code amount while maintaining the accuracy in image processing.SOLUTION: The image-processing device includes an image processing unit that performs a series of image processing to an image on the basis of the input image and outputs the result of image processing. The input image is a post-conversion image that has been converted from the original image. The conversion is an image conversion that reduces the data size of the original image while maintaining the features used in the image processing and the processing accuracy of the image processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide an image conversion processing apparatus which converts a digital photographic image into a sketch-like picturesque image, and displays on a screen or prints out the picturesque images with a natural impression.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image conversion processing apparatus which converts a digital photographic image into a sketch-like picturesque image, and displays on a screen or prints out the picturesque image with a natural impressionSOLUTION: A read-in digital photographic image is displayed on the screen so that the top and bottom of the digital photographic image match the top and bottom of the screen The digital photographic image is displayed as it is when not trimmed or over the entire screen while enlarged as it is when trimmed to a widthwise long frame, and converted into a sketch-like picturesque image with normal strokes which are obliquely downward to the left The digital photographic image is rotated by 90° to the right or left and then enlarged to be displayed over the entire screen when trimmed to a longitudinal long frame, and converted into a sketch-like picturesque image with reverse strokes which are obliquely downward to the right, so that a sketch-like picturesque image with normal strokes which are obliquely downward to the left is seen when the image having been converted is seen in a normal top-bottom posture

TL;DR: In this paper, an original image is converted into a first gradation image of 256 gradations and nine types of second gradation images are created from the first gradient image according to the respective image conversion parameters.
Abstract: In processes S1 and S2, an original image is converted into a first gradation image of 256 gradations and nine types of second gradation image are created from the first gradation image according to the respective image conversion parameters. The respective second gradation images are subjected to display calibration so as to convert them into third gradation images which are displayed in a matrix of 3 x 3 via a liquid crystal display device (5). In process of S3, one third gradation image is selected from the nine types of third gradation images displayed on the liquid crystal display device (5). In processes of S4 to S9, the second gradation image corresponding to the selected third gradation image is subjected to stamp calibration so as to be converted into a fourth gradation image, which is then subjected to binarization processing so that prepress image data is automatically generated and data is transmitted to a stamp generation device (3).

TL;DR: In this paper, an image type conversion method and device is presented, which comprises the steps of acquiring a to-be-converted image and a preset conversion requirement; Extracting a conversion type from the preset conversion requirements, and selecting a corresponding conversion module based on the conversion type; and converting the to be-con converted image based on a conversion module.
Abstract: The embodiment of the invention provides an image type conversion method and device. The method comprises the steps of acquiring a to-be-converted image and a preset conversion requirement; Extractinga conversion type from the preset conversion requirement, and selecting a corresponding conversion module based on the conversion type; And converting the to-be-converted image based on the conversion module. According to the method and the device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the corresponding conversion module is selected based on the conversion type to convert the to-be-converted image, an image conversion tool does not need to be manually selected, conversion of various image types can be realized only by one interface, the image conversion efficiency is effectively improved, and extra manpower consumption and time consumption are avoided.

TL;DR: In this paper, a picture decoder for decoding a signal of an encoded image includes a mode determination unit 602 for determining whether or not the direction of the image was converted; a decoding unit 603 for decoding the image; and an image conversion unit 610 for undoing the conversion of the decoded image if the direction was converted on the basis of the result of the determination.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture encoder with a high compression rate and a picture decoder for the picture encoder.SOLUTION: A picture decoder 501 for decoding a signal of an encoded image includes: a mode determination unit 602 for determining whether or not the direction of the image was converted; a decoding unit 603 for decoding the image; and an image conversion unit 610 for undoing the conversion of the decoded image if the direction of the image was converted on the basis of the result of the determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
