TL;DR: In this article, a server device includes a frame buffer that stores the image, an encoder 14 e that compresses the image; a whole screen moving image conversion determination unit 14 m that detects a moving image area to be compressed by using the encoder; a screen generator 14 b that compressed the image such that image degradation is lower than that of the encoded image.
Abstract: A server device 10 includes a frame buffer 13 that stores the image; an encoder 14 e that compresses the image; a whole screen moving image conversion determination unit 14 m that detects, from the image, a moving image area to be compressed by using the encoder 14 e ; a screen generator 14 b that compresses the image such that image degradation is lower than that of the encoder 14 e ; a high frequency screen update area identifier 14 n that detects, from an area compressed by the encoder 14 e , a change area that has changed and calculates an accumulated change area by accumulating the change area; and a transmitter that transmits, to a client terminal 20 , a moving image by compressing the moving image area detected by the moving image area and the detected change area and an image of the accumulated change area that is compressed by the screen generator 14 b.

TL;DR: In this article, the problem of improving editing capability and providing a high value-added printed paper in a personal image printing system centering on a personal computer and in a commercial image printing systems like a post type image generating system is addressed.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve editing capability and provide a high value-added printed paper in a personal image printing system centering on a personal computer and in a commercial image printing system like a post type image generating system. SOLUTION: The image printing system includes an image data input means 13 for entering an original image, a voice data procuring means like a voice data input means 14, a voice/image conversion means 17 for converting the voice data into the voice code image data as a visual code, an image editing means 18 for synthesizing the original image and the voice code image and generating image data of the image with the voice code image, and a printing means 20 for printing the image with the voice code image. In addition, a unit made up of a database for storing the voice data or the voice code image and a retrieving means for retrieving the database may be provided as the voice data procuring means.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a mechanism for keeping secrecy of a document to be processed or of process result in a work flow system, so as not to be known except the information processing apparatus processing a particular job.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for keeping secrecy of a document to be processed or of process result in a work flow system, so as not to be known except the information processing apparatus processing a particular job SOLUTION: Based on an instruction document data 300 produced in an integrated machine 100, a process server 201 encrypts charging information obtained by the own processing, with the public key of a process server 203 for clearing the charge for a user using the above charging information Also, a process server 202 performs predetermined image conversion against a received image data 350, based on the received instruction document data The process server 202 encrypts the image data having been image converted with a user's public key, and stores the encrypted image data into a storage 400 COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

TL;DR: In this article, an image conversion section 12 in an imaging mode of a camera 100 applies image conversion to an image (original image) captured by a CCD 110 in a way that an image quality level of each region set by a ROI region setting section 123 and a image quality setting section 124 can visually be recognized, and generates a through-image to be displayed on a display apparatus 140 in real time.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus whereby a user can recognize image quality in a plurality of regions in real time in the case of coding an image with different image qualities for a plurality of regions and to provide an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: An image conversion section 12 in an imaging mode of a camera 100 applies image conversion to an image (original image) captured by a CCD 110 in a way that an image quality level of each region set by a ROI region setting section 123 and an image quality setting section 124 can visually be recognized, and generates a through-image to be displayed on a display apparatus 140 in real time. Then the through-image generated by the image conversion section 124 is sent to a display circuit 127 via a switch SW 1 and the display apparatus 140 displays the image. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

TL;DR: In this paper, a color patch original is read in through a scanner and converted to a Lab system to generate a new input data group Qi and data groups P'315 and Q'317 are used to find a parameter group X minimizing the specific expression.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To increase the precision of a parameter group and improve the quality of an obtained image by determining parameters of image conversion according to colors that the processor can handle. CONSTITUTION: As a color patch original 312, (n) reference colors are prepared. A data group obtained by measuring the respective colors of the color patch 312 by a Lab color specification system is denoted as Pi (i=1-n). A color patch generation processing part 314 excludes colors having calculated color differences ΔE exceeding a threshold value T given by an expression from the measured data group Pi (i=1-n) and generates a color patch based upon the new measured data group Pi'. The data are read in through a scanner and converted to a Lab system to generate a new input data group Qi and data groups P'315 and Q'317 are used to find a parameter group X minimizing the specific expression. Thus, the parameters of color conversion are determined according to the colors that the scanner can handle.
