Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to recognize information through the combination of an image and characters by displaying on a screen the voice of a talker recognized as characters in a telop form. SOLUTION: An image conversion section 25 converts voice data supplied from a voice recognition section 22 that recognizes a received voice and provides an output of the voice data into character image data consisting of character strings in time series of utterance, and the character image data inserted in the video signal and synthesized are then displayed on a screen of a monitor receiver 33 being a display means. The character data are converted into an image in a way that the characters in the order of utterance is moved in succession from the right to the left on the screen, wherein the image is synthesized on a computer image or a video image and the resulting image is displayed as a telop.

Abstract: In an image conversion system including a first table connected to an image input device and an image output device, the first table is for use in converting a plurality of color information numbers limited according to the image output device into a plurality of color information to be displayed. The image conversion system further has a second table for indicating which image input data supplied from the image input device produce which of the color information numbers, a first conversion unit for converting the image input data into the color information numbers with reference to the second table, and a second conversion unit for converting the color information numbers into the color information with reference to the first table.

Abstract: A visual monitoring device for a flotation froth image is used in the beneficiation process monitoring and the optimization control field. The monitoring device consists of a high-resolution industrial camera, a high-frequency light resource and hardware equipment like a computer. By debugging and installing various hardware equipment, particularly installing a double protective cover, the device reaches IP65 protection class and meets the requirements of acquiring a high-quality froth image and real-time processing in the respect of the device performances. The image acquisition method is as follows: the industrial camera acquires an image of a flotation tank froth layer; video signals are digitized, and digital video signals are generated and transmitted to an image conversion card by an optical fiber interface and an optical fiber. The image conversion card converts the protocol data of the camera into the digital signals which are suitable for computer processing and reads the data to a memory of the computer by a hardware driver interface, and an image processing and application program reads, analyzes and processes the froth image.

Thus, objects in the vicinity of a vehicle can be detected quickly without a decrease in detection capability.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that provides a technology for collecting an image pattern including a recognition target and an image pattern not including a recognition target without time and effort, and using the thus collected image patterns for learning of a discriminator, and thereby carries out highly accurate image recognition.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: an object tracking part 31 that extracts an area where a recognition target is captured from an image of respective frames that constitute a moving image; an image conversion part 32 that creates a recognition target sample based on an image obtained by subjecting the image in the area to geometric conversion; an area cutting part 34 that sets an area to the image in the frames that constitute the moving image; an image composition part 35 that creates a non-recognition target sample image based on an image obtained by combining plural areas of the image in respective set areas; and a learning part 40 that learns the recognition target using the recognition target sample and the non-recognition target sample.
