TL;DR: Reduction of ovarian and uterine weights indicated an antigonadotropic nature of the pineal gland of this animal.
Abstract: Bioassay of the pineal extract of F. pennanti was performed in immature female mice which was previously sensitized with human chorionic gonadotrophin. Reduction of ovarian and uterine weights indicated an antigonadotropic nature of the pineal gland of this animal.

TL;DR: The sites of formation of fructose and citric acid in the male accessory glands of reproduction in the Indian palm squirrel, Funambulus pennanti, are described and the seminal vesicle secretes only fructose in concentrations much higher than any recorded so far in a rodent.
Abstract: The sites of formation of fructose and citric acid in the male accessory glands of reproduction in the Indian palm squirrel, Funambulus pennanti, are described. The seminal vesicle secretes only fructose in concentrations much higher than any recorded so far in a rodent. The compact prostate produces both fructose and citric acid. The findings are discussed in relation to the sites of formation of these constituents in other rodents.

TL;DR: Eimeria bandipurensis n.
Abstract: SYNOPSIS. Eimeria bandipurensis n. sp., is described from the gut of an Indian palm squirrel, Funumbulus palmarum, obtained from a village, Bandipur, in West Bengal. Spherical and egg-shaped oocysts were encountered, the former averaging 17 μ in diameter and the latter 18 by 16 μ. Oocystic residuum was absent while the sporocystic residuum was represented by refractile globules. A Stieda body was present in the sporocyst. Sporozoites were banana-shaped with one end broader and the other pointed with a clear globule at each end.
