TL;DR: In this paper, it is proposed that the carrier board carrying the sensor coil be mechanically rigidly and electrically connected to the printed circuit board by at least two soldered joints.
Abstract: In order to so improve an inductive sensor comprising at least one sensor coil in the form of a structured, conductive layer of a carrier board, and an evaluation circuit comprising a printed circuit board with conductor tracks provided thereon and being connected to the sensor coil, that it is manufacturable as cost-efficiently as possible, it is proposed that the carrier board carrying the sensor coil be mechanically rigidly and electrically connected to the printed circuit board by at least two soldered joints.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a method to detect lateral offset signals of the part windings (6a, 6b) with respect to the irregularity (4c) of the object irregularity, which can be obtained by directly or indirectly connecting the outputs of the two parts windings in opposition to one another.
Abstract: An inductive sensor arrangement exhibits a transmitter coil (1) which is fed by a high-frequency oscillator (3) The transmitter coil (1) generates a spatial electromagnetic field (5) Two coil arrangements (6 and 9) in which a current is induced by the transmitter coil (1), are inductively coupled to the transmitter coil (1) Two first receiver part windings (6a, 6b) are arranged in such a manner that they are exposed to different induction with an unsymmetric position with respect to object irregularities, for example gaps in a metal body This makes it possible to detect lateral offset signals of the part windings (6a and 6b) with respect to the irregularity (4c) of the object (4) Such signals, which indicate the lateral offset of the object irregularity, can be obtained by directly or indirectly connecting the outputs of the two part windings (6a, 6b) in opposition to one another In addition, a second coil arrangement (9) is provided which exhibits an equal number of receiver part windings (9a, 9b) to the first coil arrangement (6) The part windings (9a, 9b) are arranged approximately in line with the part windings (6a, 6b) above the object By comparing the output signals of the associated part windings of the two coil arrangements (6a, 9a and 6b, 9b), signals can be obtained which have a relationship to the distance between the sensor arrangement and the metallic object (4) If the distance signals of the two pairs of part windings (6a, 9a and 6b, 9b) differ from one another, correction signals can be obtained from this

TL;DR: In this article, a transceiver for providing wireless communication with a passive wireless surface acoustic wave (SAW) proximity sensor is proposed, which transmits a signal back to the transceiver that includes information about the position of an object.
Abstract: The subject invention is related to wireless proximity sensor and sensing system for detecting the position of an object. The system includes a transceiver for providing wireless communication with a passive wireless surface acoustic wave (SAW) proximity sensor. The wireless proximity sensor receives a wireless signal from the transceiver, which powers the SAW device and in turn transmits a signal back to the transceiver that includes information about the position of an object. The wireless proximity sensor uses one or more SAW devices with a sensing element made of magnetostrictive material, in conjunction with one or more magnets and one or more targets that are positioned relative to an object. The movement of the target(s) in relation to the proximity sensor operatively produces a mechanical response due to the shift in the magnetic field of the sensing element. The sensing element in turn enhances the magnetic field of the SAW device to which it is attached, and this information is transmitted to the transceiver as information about the position of an object.

TL;DR: In this paper, a temperature-stable inductive proximity switch with a transistorized resonant circuit oscillator was proposed, where the temperature of the transistor was determined by the emitter-to-collector circuit.
Abstract: The invention relates to a temperature-stable inductive proximity switch having a transistorized resonant circuit oscillator. The feeding into the emitter-to-collector circuit of the resonant circuit transistor T1 of a balancing current, which depends on the individually determined temperature of the resonant circuit transistor T1 and the individually determined temperature of the resonant circuit coil, ensures that the proximity switch is temperature-stable with respect to its switching distance for every adjusted basic current.
