TL;DR: In this article, the displacement sensor and the angle measuring sensor are designed as contactless measuring sensors or magnetic/inductive sensors, and an inclinometer is arranged on the settlement-insensitive component.
Abstract: The device (1) has an angle measuring sensor (9) and a displacement sensor (10) for detecting position deviations of a tension cable (3) or a tension wire. The sensors are arranged on a settlement-sensitive component (2). The tension cable or the tension wire is arranged as a reference beam on a settlement-insensitive component (5) i.e. end transverse carrier of bridge. The displacement sensor and the angle-measuring sensor are designed as contactless measuring sensors or magnetic/inductive sensors. An inclinometer (14) is arranged on the settlement-insensitive component.

TL;DR: A new wireless inductive proximity sensor system for detecting early implant loosening that is capable of measuring the loosening of the hip implant at low resolution and has a good correlation between the simulated and experimental results.
Abstract: Currently, the most common method for detecting prosthetic implant loosening is imaging. Unfortunately, imaging methods are imprecise in detecting the early signs of implant loosening. This paper describes a new wireless inductive proximity sensor system for detecting early implant loosening. The loosening of the implant is accurately detected by analyzing the electromagnetic field generated by the passive sensors located around the implant. The sensor system was modeled and simulated using COMSOL, and then tested experimentally. The inductive proximity sensor and the metallic implant form a coupled circuit is tuned to oscillate at a designed frequency. The circuit’s integrated controller measures and records specific sensor’s parameters such as resistance and inductance of the sensor that are directly related to the distance between the sensor system and the implant. A prototype has been developed and the results show that the designed proximity sensor is capable of measuring the loosening of the hip implant at $\text{50}\ \mu$ m resolution at distances of less than $\text{8 mm}$ , and of $\text{100}\ \mu$ m resolution at a distance of $\text{15 mm}$ . Furthermore, there is a good correlation between the simulated and experimental results.

TL;DR: In this paper, an electronic proximity switch employs two oscillators coupled through two electrical paths, one associated with an antenna serving as a proximity switch sensor, which may be detected and used for switching purposes.
Abstract: An electronic proximity switch employs two oscillators coupled through two electrical paths, one associated with an antenna serving as a proximity switch sensor. Absorption by an object near the antenna changes the coupling between the oscillators producing a dramatic phase shift that may be detected and used for switching purposes.

TL;DR: In this paper, an investigation system for road traffic flow and a realization method thereof, wherein the road traffic traffic flow investigation system includes a magnetic-core inductive sensor, a signal processing circuit, a data acquisition circuit and a data processing system, which are mutually connected in order.
Abstract: The invention discloses an investigation system for road traffic flow and a realization method thereof, wherein the road traffic flow investigation system includes a magnetic-core inductive sensor, a signal processing circuit, a data acquisition circuit and a data processing system, which are mutually connected in order. The magnetic-core inductive sensor includes a first coil, a second coil and a magnetic coil. The signal processing circuit carries out filtering and amplifying on signals. The data acquisition circuit converts analog signals into digital signals. The data processing system carries out calculation and statistics on input digital signals and obtains traffic flow information which includes vehicle model, vehicle speed and traffic flow. The adopted magnetic-core inductive sensor not only has the characteristics of being small in size, simple to install and small in road damaged surfaces, but is also high in signal intensity and obvious in vehicle-model features corresponding to output waveform. Moreover, the investigation system for the road traffic flow adopts an RBF neural network to carry out vehicle-model identification so that vehicle-model identification rate is high.

TL;DR: In this paper, the probability of inductive proximity sensors (1) which are used to monitor the position of moveable points or rail parts is measured and fed to an evaluation circuit.
Abstract: A device for monitoring the probability of inductive proximity sensors (1) which are used to monitor the position of moveable points parts or rail parts. The proximity sensor (1) comprises at least one coil (5) which is fed by an oscillator (7) . The sensor current flowing as a function of alterable attenuation is measured and fed to an evaluation circuit. Characteristics (18,22) of the sensor for the profile of the sensor currents as a function of the distance of the moveable points or rail parts, i.e. mechanical attenuation, are stored in an electric, non -additionally attenuated state and an electric, additionally attenuated state. The measuring currents (22) corresponding to a mechanical attenuation state and the corresponding additionally electrically attenuated measuring currents are cyclically scanned. The respective measuring currents or pairs of measuring values are supplied to a comparator and evaluation circuit wherein differences arising from the characteristic curves are compared with the measured differences.
