TL;DR: In this article, a control panel with push buttons comprising switching elements where the push buttons are assigned to a proximity sensor is evaluated for detecting push button defect in cooperation with a switching signal in an evaluation unit, where the switching signal is produced by the switching elements.
Abstract: The element (1) has a control panel with push buttons (3) comprising switching elements (10, 11), where the push buttons are assigned to a proximity sensor (12) e.g. capacitive proximity sensor or inductive proximity sensor. A sensor signal i.e. analog signal, of the sensor is evaluated for detecting push button defect in cooperation with a switching signal in an evaluation unit (13), where the switching signal is produced by the switching elements. The switching elements are formed as a micro switch or a safety shutdown mat or a contactless switch i.e. digital switch, with a hall-sensor.

TL;DR: A control loop was developed which uses an inductive sensor to measure the actual position of an image sensor and an electronic and sensor actor design to actuate the sensor into the optimal position.
Abstract: The sharpness of edge transition is one of the major requirements in optical sensing especially in the field of image processing. Therefore a lot of algorithms were assessed in the field of digital photography. In the field of industrial image processing especially multispectral imaging different focus positions are needed to get an optimal focus position for every sampling channel. Therefore a control loop was developed which uses an inductive sensor to measure the actual position of an image sensor. With this information a voice coil were activated to actuate the sensor into the optimal position. For a correct operation a resolution of less than fifty microns have to be reached. The paper presents the construction as well as the electronic and sensor actor design. First evaluations demonstrating a proof of concept and will also discussed in the paper.

TL;DR: An improved convolutional neural network combined with degenerate unmixing estimation technique (DUET) is proposed in the paper which offers an online solution for the inductive aliasing signal separation and provides an alternative online approach of the original two-dimensional weighted histogram method.
Abstract: Wear debris which contain multiple degrading information are of great interest to the running machines' health management. Among the several kinds of debris detection methods, inductive sensors have shown great potential for the online monitoring applications, along with which the superimposed voltage caused by the debris with short distances becomes a major factor influencing the accuracy of the detection. An improved convolutional neural network (CNN) combined with degenerate unmixing estimation technique (DUET) is proposed in the paper which offers an online solution for the inductive aliasing signal separation. The experimental result shows that the proposed method is effective and provides an alternative online approach of the original two-dimensional weighted histogram method.

TL;DR: Identification results of the function parameters allowing the optimal fusion of the conditioner output signals for various vehicle classes, as well as the axle detection algorithm, were presented.
Abstract: The possibility of using the inductive loop sensor as an efficient axle detector of vehicles is presented in the hereby paper. The fundamental condition for using such sensors is the proper selection of its geometrical dimensions. The original conditioning system was applied for cooperating with the sensor. At this system's output two signals (magnetic profiles) proportional the changes in its impedance components are obtained. Identification results of the function parameters allowing the optimal fusion of the conditioner output signals for various vehicle classes, as well as the axle detection algorithm, were also presented. The applying inductive sensors good point is the possibility of detecting lifted axles in vehicles, which is impossible when currently widespread load sensors are applied.
