26 Mar 2014TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe techniques for performing a capacitive sensor action in response to proximity sensor data, which may indicate the potential capacitive interaction of an electrically charged object with a touch panel of a computing device.
Abstract: Techniques for performing a capacitive sensor action are described herein. Data may be received from a proximity sensor of a computing device. The proximity data may indicate potential capacitive interaction of an electrically charged object with a capacitive sensor of a touch panel of the computing device. An action may be performed at the capacitive sensor in response to the proximity sensor data.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a sensor consisting of a measuring tube (1) for feeding fluid, a measurement electrode arrangement (3) for detecting electrical voltages generated in the flowing fluid, and a magnetic field system (2) attached to the outside of the measuring tube, which induces an electrical field in the fluid, through which an electrical excitation current flows at least sometimes in operation.
Abstract: The sensor comprises a measuring tube (1) for feeding fluid, a measurement electrode arrangement (3) for detecting electrical voltages generated in the flowing fluid, and a magnetic field system (2) attached to the outside of the measuring tube for generating a magnetic field at least partially penetrating the measuring tube and the fluid conducted inside it in operation, which induces an electrical field in the flowing fluid, wherein the magnetic field system has at least one field coil (21) through which an electrical excitation current flows at least sometimes in operation. The sensor according to the invention further comprises a coil support (24) to hold the at least one field coil on the outside of the measuring tube, wherein the measuring tube and coil support are seamlessly conjoined, so that the coil support is constructed as an integral component of the measuring tube.

TL;DR: An inductive sensor (Rogowski coil) - based digital measuring system able to operate in any frequency range both in steady state and in transient duty, which uses a self-developed numerical integration system is presented in this paper.
Abstract: An inductive sensor (Rogowski coil) — based digital measuring system able to operate in any frequency range both in steady state and in transient duty, which uses a self-developed numerical integration system, is presented in this paper. Besides, the measuring system has an extended input signal range achieved by using a nonlinear input attenuator. Software validation is done by using the analytical expression of some typical signals appearing in heavy current technique, power electronics and electromagnetic compatibility applications.

TL;DR: In this paper, a disturbance elimination system for inductive sensors for monitoring the movement of mobile objects, including an inductive element formed by two magnetically-opposed identical half-coils (L2 and L3) which are disposed in parallel with one another and coplanar to the movement plane of a magnetic element provided on the mobile element to be monitored, facing a point through which the moving magnetic element (1) passes.
Abstract: The invention relates to a disturbance elimination system for inductive sensors for monitoring the movement of mobile objects, including an inductive element formed by two magnetically-opposed identical half-coils (L2 and L3) which are disposed in parallel with one another and coplanar to the movement plane of a magnetic element (1) provided on the mobile element to be monitored, facing a point through which the moving magnetic element (1) passes.
