TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a commercial electromagnetic finite element analysis program to assess the performance of a noncontact inductive position sensor, where the sensor's primary and secondary coils are laid on a printed circuit board, and are constructed in between a conductive target and a ground plane.
Abstract: We used a commercial electromagnetic finite element analysis program to assess the performance of a noncontact inductive position sensor. The sensor's primary and secondary coils are laid on a printed circuit board, and are constructed in between a conductive target and a ground plane. It was found that the higher the conductivity of the target, the better the performance. Other simulation results, such as linearity, temperature effect, and contamination errors were also reported, and were used in design.

13 May 2012TL;DR: In this article, a fixed post-processing technique for PD pulse waveforms was used to discriminate between discharges from electrical noise for two inductive sensors: a commercial High Frequency Current Transformer and a newly developed inductive loop sensor.
Abstract: Partial discharges in high voltage equipment are a cause and consequence of premature ageing. Thus, its accurate measurement is an important diagnosis tool trying to avoid premature failures. Classical phase resolved patterns are now completed with pulse waveform analysis in order to discriminate between PD sources and PD from noise. For this purpose, high frequency inductive sensors are being used in recent years. In this paper, a fixed post-processing technique for PD pulse waveforms will be used to discriminate between discharges from electrical noise for two inductive sensors: a commercial High Frequency Current Transformer and a newly developed inductive loop sensor. Results will prove that this novel inductive loop sensor is able to discriminate PD from electrical noise for several test objects.

TL;DR: In this article, a vehicle door alarm device, comprising an inductive sensor placed on the external side of the vehicle door, and a monolithic computer connected with the sensor, is presented.
Abstract: The utiltiy model provides a vehicle door alarm device, comprising a inductive sensor arranged on the external side of the vehicle door, and a monolithic computer connected with the inductive sensor, wherein the monolithic computer is connected with a buzzer, and the power supply is connected with the monolithic computer. A stroke is connected in series between the power supply and the monolithic computer, and the stroke is arranged at the connection part of the vehicle door and the vehicle body. The device has a simple structure, can alarm in time for preventing the vehicle door from colliding other objects.

TL;DR: In this article, an active inductive proximity sensor with damping evaluation and operating point regulation is presented for a model racing track, where the sensor arrangement contains a transducer and signal evaluation electronics.
Abstract: The sensor consists of an active inductive proximity sensor with damping evaluation and operating point regulation or an active inductive proximity sensor with frequency detuning evaluation and operating point regulation. The sensor arrangement contains a transducer and signal evaluation electronics. An Independent claim is also included for a model racing track.
