Abstract: The invention relates to a sensor unit for detecting the contact or proximity of an object. A server circuit of the sensor unit according to the invention is configured in such a way that the server circuit alone (i.e. without co-operation with a client circuit) can be used as a proximity sensor, but at the same time can be combined with one or more client circuits to obtain a sensor network, wherein the client circuits are preferably supplied with energy by means of the electric field of the server electrode.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for the operation of a thin film heater cooker. The present invention more particularly relates to a thin film heater cooking appliance comprising at least one thin film heating cooker (1), said at least one thin film heating cooker (1) comprising a plurality of thin film heating elements (4) forming a two-dimensional web of neighboring thin film heating elements (4) and at last one sensor unit (2) in the form of an inductive sensor (9), a capacitive sensor (10), an optic sensor (11) or a load sensor (12), each of said thin film heating elements (4) being supplied power by a busbar (5).

Abstract: FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: proposed transducer comprises oscillator with inductive sensor composed if inductor arranged in annular groove of ferrite core open end, first threshold element, flip-flop with capacitative sensor, detector, second threshold element, logical element AND with its first and second inputs connected with appropriate outputs of threshold elements and its output making transducer output. Note here that capacitative sensor with central hole and inductive sensor are aligned to make transducer sensor. With metal part displacing relative to transducer sensor, signal with logical "1" is generated at transducer output to indicate control over said metal part. In case non-metal part is displaced, no said signal is generated and signal with logical "0" exists at transducer output.EFFECT: higher reliability.5 dwg

Abstract: A method of magnetic medium density measurement is described, which is very useful for the dense medium coal washing process. The inductive sensor structure and principle are discussed. The principle and realization of measurement system are also introduced. The exciting signal is sinusoidal wave current. The method can eliminates the temperature drift caused by the sensor resistance and increases the ability of anti interference. For increasing the sensor mechanical strength, the sensor structure is improved by putting the sensor in a stainless steel pipe. A slit to eliminate the eddy current in stainless steel pipe is cut. The linearity experiment and temperature experiment results are presented. The operation in coal preparation plant proves that the magnetic medium density measurement is stable and is able to meet the demand of the coal washing process.

Abstract: The switch has a sensor e.g. temperature sensor, provided with a sensor network phase (12) and a sensor circuit phase, and a latching relay with an induction coil (7). The sensor and the relay are connected to a control module (6). The sensor signalizes disconnection of the circuit phase at the module after identifying no sensor-triggering event over a predetermined time. The module actuates the relay by release of a switching pulse to the coil, where a consumer phase (11) is disconnected, so that a consumer (5), the control module and the sensor are separated from a power supply (8). The sensor e.g. smoke detector, aroma sensor, smack sensor or chemical sensor, radio-controlled sensor and moisture sensor or wind sensor is provided with a sensor network phase. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a power-saving sensor circuit.
