TL;DR: In this article , a modified coupling model of multiple coils considering eddy current is proposed to describe a system with modulation characteristics, and corresponding equivalent circuit equations are established, and a prototype is manufactured to verify the performance of the proposed design, and the ferrite is used to suppresses the coupling between the sensor and metallic environment.
Abstract: Planar inductive position sensor based on PCB has the advantage of low cost and reducing the error caused by winding manufacturing. For inductive sensor with resonant structure, the undesired eddy current caused by conductive shell influences the amplitude and carrier phase of output signals when the sensor is integrated in the motor. This change affects signal demodulation feasibility of the sensor and reduces the signal-to-noise ratio. For this problem, the influence of ferromagnetic materials and eddy current is here discussed. A modified coupling model of multiple coils considering eddy current is proposed to describe a system with modulation characteristics, and the corresponding equivalent circuit equations are established. A prototype is manufactured to verify the performance of the proposed design, and the ferrite is used to suppresses the coupling between the sensor and metallic environment. According to the experimental results, the sensor signal demodulation is achieved properly, and the linear angle estimation realized at a uniform speed.

TL;DR: In this paper, an apparatus has a circuit module for switching or dimming of loads coupled to a sensor and an electronic circuit for switching on and off and changing supply voltage or generating control signals for loads depending on the detected position of the transmission element of a separate adapter module.
Abstract: The apparatus has a circuit module (4) for switching or dimming of loads e.g. lamps, coupled to the circuit module. The circuit module comprises a sensor for detecting a position of a transmission element (5) and an electronic circuit for switching on and off and changing supply voltage or generating control signals for loads depending on the detected position of the transmission element of a separate adapter module. The transmission element is freely moved toward the sensor. The loads are connected to the circuit module. The electronic circuit is connected with the sensor. The sensor is a sensing device, photo sensor, magnetic sensor, capacitive sensor, inductive sensor or switch.

TL;DR: An inductive position sensor includes an electronic circuit, which is configured such that initially three digital signals are able to be generated from the signals detected by three receiver printed conductors, and the position values are then supplied to a comparator.
Abstract: An inductive position sensor includes an electronic circuit, which is configured such that initially three digital signals are able to be generated from the signals detected by three receiver printed conductors. At least two position values are ascertainable by combining the three digital signals, and the position values are able to be supplied to a comparator. A measuring system includes, in addition to the position sensor, a data interface and sequential electronics which include the comparator.

TL;DR: Measuring circuits of capacitive and inductive sensors, which employ switching methods and phase and polyharmonic division of the channels are considered, and each enables the error due to the finite value of the amplifier gain to be eliminated.
Abstract: The principle of time division of the channels for converting passive quantities and methods of achieving it are described. Measuring circuits of capacitive and inductive sensors, which employ switching methods and phase and polyharmonic division of the channels are considered. Each of these circuits enables the error due to the finite value of the amplifier gain to be eliminated, and ensures that the conversion of the informative parameter of the sensor is invariant to the cable parameters.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a portable object comprising a frame arranged as a cradle for a control stem, the actuation in rotation of which makes it possible to control at least one electronic or mechanical function of the portable object, a magnetized ring being driven in rotation by the control stem.
Abstract: Portable object comprising a frame arranged to serve as a cradle for a control stem, the actuation in rotation of which makes it possible to control at least one electronic or mechanical function of the portable object, a magnetized ring being driven in rotation by the control stem, the rotation of the magnetized ring being detected by at least one inductive sensor disposed inside a housing of the frame inside which the inductive sensor is held by elastic means.
