TL;DR: In this article, the harmonics of current drawn from power lines by electric equipment are regulated by a rectifier circuit module, consisting of an array of rectifying diodes; a second Switch and Controller Assembly (SCA) module, which comprises a power switch and controller and their interconnections.
Abstract: Modular apparatus for regulating the harmonics of current drawn from power lines by electric equipment, comprising a first rectifier circuit module, consisting of an array of rectifying diodes; a second Switch and Controller Assembly (SCA) module, which comprises a power switch and controller and their interconnections; an input inductor for filtering the current drawn from the rectifier module; and an output capacitor, for filtering the output voltage ripple at the load. The inlet of the rectifier is connected to the power line and an outlet of the rectifier module is connected to the SCA. The inlet of said SCA is connected to the rectifier, via an inductor and the outlet of said SCA is connected to the output capacitor. The inlet of the inductor is connected to the rectifier, the outlet of the inductor is connected to the inlet of said SCA, and the capacitor is connected in parallel with the load.

TL;DR: In this paper, a radio frequency surface probe for data acquisition in magnetic resonance systems is presented, which is comprised of a plurality of inductors connected together with tuning capacitors in a balanced configuration, enabling the probe to be impedance matched and to resonate at two separate frequencies without having to be tuned between frequency settings.
Abstract: A radio frequency surface probe for data acquisition in magnetic resonance systems. The probe is comprised of a plurality of inductors connected together with tuning capacitors in a balanced configuration. The configuration enables the probe to be impedance matched and to resonate at two separate frequencies without having to be tuned between frequency settings and without being effected by the impedance variations that are caused by the different samples or patients.

TL;DR: In this paper, a diplexer constructed on a stripline board includes a plurality of filters each having a series of filter sections providing an elongated physical configuration to the respective filter.
Abstract: A diplexer constructed on a stripline board includes a plurality of filters each having a series of filter sections providing an elongated physical configuration to the respective filter. Each filter section comprises an inductor and a capacitor. Each of the capacitors for each of the filters is formed in stripline format by laminating a pad of electrically conductive material to a sheet of electrically conductive material with the interposition of a layer of dielectric material between the pad and the sheet. Each inductor is formed as a coil wound about a core of air or solid magnetizable material. To provide for reduced physical size of the circuitry, thereby to accommodate emplacement of the circuitry within a television cable connection box, there is provided in a preferred embodiment of the invention filters of higher and lower frequency channels wherein the filter of the lower frequency channel has larger inductors. The lower frequency channel is bent to reduce overall size, the bending bringing distant inductors in close proximity. To reduce mutual coupling between the distant inductors, the inductors are arranged with mutually perpendicular orientations of their respective axes. Power combiners, power splitters, and relays are also included in the circuitry for provision of both incoming and outgoing telephony and television video signals.

TL;DR: In this paper, a new nonisolated bidirectional zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) dc-dc converter is proposed, which can operate with ZVS, fixed switching frequency, and a ripple-free inductor current regardless of the direction of power flow.
Abstract: A new nonisolated bidirectional zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) dc-dc converter is proposed. The proposed converter can operate with ZVS, fixed switching frequency, and a ripple-free inductor current regardless of the direction of power flow. To provide ZVS of the power switches and a ripple-free inductor current, the proposed converter utilizes a very simple auxiliary circuit that consists of an additional winding to the main inductor and an auxiliary inductor. Due to ZVS operation, the reverse recovery problem of the antiparallel body diode of the power switch does not occur. Moreover, the ripple-free inductor current can reduce the voltage ripple. Theoretical analysis of the proposed bidirectional dc-dc converter and the experimental results obtained on 100-W prototype are discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, a single inductor multiple-input multiple-output (SI-MIMO) switching converter time-multiplex different input power sources through only one inductor to provide multiple regulated output voltages, which can be used to power up different blocks of a portable electronic device (or whatever else it is used for) and at the same time to charge up a rechargeable battery.
Abstract: A single inductor multiple-input multiple-output (SI-MIMO) switching converter time-multiplexes different input power sources through only one inductor to provide multiple regulated output voltages, which can be used to power up different blocks of a portable electronic device (or whatever else it is used for) and at the same time to charge up a rechargeable battery. Power multiplexing is achieved by input switches that are also the switching elements of the switching converter, thus eliminating an additional power multiplexer.
