TL;DR: Error-free all-optical packet switching is demonstrated by use of a multiwavelength mutual injection-locked Fabry-Perot laser diode.
Abstract: Error-free all-optical packet switching is demonstrated by use of a multiwavelength mutual injection-locked Fabry-Perot laser diode. A 10-Gbit/s data signal is switched on and off with an extinction ratio of 16.9 dB when an optical control signal is turned off and on with a power difference of only 3 dB.

TL;DR: Power- and frequency noise measurements of an Yb-doped fiber amplifier seeded by a nonplanar ring oscillator are reported on and actuators for both power and frequency stabilization of such a system are identified.
Abstract: The interferometric gravitational-wave detector LISA requires laser sources with 1W of output power and low frequency and power noise as well as actuators for further power and frequency stabilization. We report on power- and frequency noise measurements of an Yb-doped fiber amplifier seeded by a nonplanar ring oscillator and identify actuators for both power and frequency stabilization of such a system.

TL;DR: In this article, an active phased array using unilateral injection-locked oscillators was developed, where the phase shift was controlled by electronic tuning and the beam scanning was demonstrated, and the Amplifiers inserted between oscillators eliminated reverse injection locking and control the locking bandwidth.
Abstract: An active phased array using unilateral injection-locked oscillators was developed. The phase shift is controlled by electronic tuning and the beam scanning is demonstrated. Amplifiers inserted between oscillators eliminate reverse injection locking and control the locking bandwidth. Both theory and experimental results are presented and discussed. >

TL;DR: Constructing a phase-locking array of fiber lasers by an all-fiber coupling loop is presented, and the loop is composed of multiple 2x2 fiber couplers connected with the output ends of component fiber lasers of the array.
Abstract: Constructing a phase-locking array of fiber lasers by an all-fiber coupling loop is presented, and the loop is composed of multiple 2×2 fiber couplers which are connected with the output ends of component fiber lasers of the array. Due to the mutual injection locking among the fiber lasers by the coupling loop, they can achieve the phase-locking states and then are coherently combined in the far field. Phase locking of an array of three fiber lasers with this configuration has been demonstrated experimentally, and obvious interference patterns and stable coherent output have been observed.
