TL;DR: In this article, a PbZr0.5Ti 0.5O3 film was used as a high-permittivity insulator layer, achieving a field mobility of about 0.017cm2∕Vs and an ON/OFF ratio of more than 103.
Abstract: Copper-phthalocyanine-thin-film metal-insulator-semiconductor field-effect transistors operating with a low driving voltage have been fabricated by using a PbZr0.5Ti0.5O3 film as a high-permittivity insulator layer (e≈500). A field mobility of about 0.017cm2∕Vs and an ON/OFF ratio of more than 103 were obtained at a gate voltage of −2V and a drain-source voltage of −1V. This p-type copper-phthalocyanine transistor has a driving voltage low enough for practical device applications.

TL;DR: In this paper, the possibility of preventing high-voltage surface flashover of insulators in vacuum by means of a strong magnetic field perpendicular to the electric field and parallel to the insulator surface is investigated theoretically.
Abstract: The possibility of preventing high‐voltage surface flashover of insulators in vacuum by means of a strong magnetic field perpendicular to the electric field and parallel to the insulator surface is investigated theoretically. A simple model predicts that with the right choice of insulating material one can design diodes and transmission lines so that the magnetic field from the line current inhibits the secondary‐electron‐emission avalanche which is believed to play an important role in the flashover process.

TL;DR: A semi-insulating coating or surface layer is applied over insulating materials such as a circuit board or wiring harness or feed-through insulator as mentioned in this paper, which leaks away charge buildup before large pulse discharges occur.
Abstract: A semi-insulating coating or surface layer is applied over insulating materials such as a circuit board or wiring harness or feedthrough insulator. The paint is electrically fixed to ground and as a result leaks away charge buildup before large pulse discharges occur. For example, pure tin oxide particles in phenoxy resin binder forms a paintable application for the invention.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the electrical and mechanical requirements for vacuum insulators in high peak power generators to increase the lifetime of these insulators, they have developed a coating called Dendresist, which has extended the insulator lifetime on the PITHON, DM2, CASINO, and Double-Eagle pulsed power generators.
Abstract: The authors discuss the electrical and mechanical requirements for vacuum insulators in high peak power generators To increase the lifetime of these insulators, they have developed a coating called Dendresist This coating has extended the insulator lifetime on the PITHON, DM2, CASINO, and Double-EAGLE pulsed power generators They describe its development, and compare its electrical and mechanical strength to that of other candidate coatings and materials used for vacuum insulators They discuss the mechanism for discharges through the bulk of the insulator ("worm-holes"), and how to eliminate these failures using thicker insulating rings

TL;DR: In this paper, the boundary element method is used for analyzing the electric field distributions of high voltage apparatus. But the method is not suitable for the design of high-voltage equipment.
Abstract: Computer methods have become an essential tool for the design of high voltage equipment, in order to utilize the electric field as well as possible. The paper describes new algorithms based on the boundary element method for analyzing electric field distributions of high voltage apparatus. These algorithms regard surface elements composed of segments of realistic technical electrode and insulator surfaces. The method is illustrated by some examples from industry. >
