TL;DR: In this paper, an electronic controller for conducting trusted lightweight e-commerce transactions is proposed. But the controller operates equally well on robust private networks as on unpredictable Internet or wireless networks and can be used in embedded Internet products such as fixed or mobile Internet kiosks, transactional terminals, and Internet Appliances.
Abstract: An electronic controller for conducting trusted lightweight e-commerce transactions. A trusted transactional cache and the associated transactional protocol allow e-commerce transactions to be committed to a remote server extremely quickly and with little network overhead. The end-to-end transactions are completed is just a few seconds or less. The invention operates equally well on robust private networks as on unpredictable Internet or wireless networks. The transaction is automatically completed following a temporary communication failure with the central site or following a temporary local controller failure. The invention can advantageously be used in embedded Internet products such as fixed or mobile Internet kiosks, transactional terminals, and Internet Appliances.

TL;DR: Internet of Things is getting the attention from the public due to the effect of increasing export businesses and jobs and has become a buzzword among businesses and has a tendency to grow in the future as it is extended from social infrastructure to the consumer sector centered on life services.
Abstract: The government has adopted the field of “Internet of Things” as a national strategic project, announcing the Internet of Things master plan to achieve a leading country of hyper-connected digital revolution last May. The government has the promotional strategy of reinforcing the competitiveness in software (SW) sensor components devices, training specialists that will lead Internet of Things (IoT) services and products, and internalizing security for Internet of Things products and services. Internet of Things, thus expected to grow from ₩2 trillion and 300 billion last year to ₩30 trillion by 2020 in the market, refers to the Internet environment where people, things around, data, etc. are all connected to the wired and wireless network to mutually create, collect, share, and utilize information. Internet of Things is the technology and service that includes generating information (sensor) - acquisition (parts, devices) - sharing (Clyde) - utilization (Big Data) - application software. Internet of Things is getting a lot of attention from the public due to the effect of increasing export businesses and jobs and has become a buzzword among businesses. The Internet of Things market has a tendency to grow in the future as it is extended from social infrastructure (utilities, transportation, automation, etc.) and safety management to the consumer sector centered on life services. Sophisticated wireless communication technology is expected to form a huge network connected to all object units as a communication function.

TL;DR: Live video and sound from the 11th World Congress of Anaesthesiology in Sydney, Australia were broadcast over the Internet using the CuSeeme software package as part of an ongoing evaluation of Internet-based telecommunication in the delivery of Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Abstract: Live video and sound from the 11th World Congress of Anaesthesiology in Sydney, Australia were broadcast over the Internet using the CuSeeme software package as part of an ongoing evaluation of Internet-based telecommunication in the delivery of Continuing Medical Education (CME). This was the first time such a broadcast had been attempted from a medical convention. The broadcast lasted for four days, during which a functioning combination of computer hardware and software was established. Technical issues relating to broadcast of these real time signals over ISDN links and the Internet itself were addressed. Over 200 anaesthetists from around the world were able to 'attend' the plenary sessions via the Internet. Evidenced by feedback received audio reception was quite good. Video reception was less successful for those receiving the broadcast via a modem based Internet connection. The received signal in such circumstances was adequate to provide a video presence of the speaker but inadequate to allow details of 35 mm slides to be visualised. We conclude that this technology will be of use in the delivery of CME materials to remote areas provided simultaneous viewing of high resolution still images is possible using another medium, such as the World Wide Web.

TL;DR: The e-commerce industry in India is growing day by day and the advertisement revenue by the online service provider is increasing year by year and Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) is also increasing.
Abstract: Todays world is not an ordinary world or common world; we are living in online world or Internet world for each and everything we are depending on Internet and Internet has become part and parcel of human life. We are using internet not only for browsing information or exchanging the information and also for everything what we are needed for our day today life. TL;DR: This paper focuses on how to structure the Internet to avoid the unnecessary client-server interactions dominating the Internet, and extends the API of popular existing Internet services through Web service wrappers.
Abstract: Much of the contents of popular Internet information sources are highly dynamic: urgent in nature and sometimes relevant only for a short time. The typical approach to querying such dynamic sources is polling for updates often. This strains the traditional pull-based Internet and wastes network resources on transmitting redundant information. This paper focuses on how to structure the Internet to avoid the unnecessary client-server interactions dominating the Internet. To that end, we extend the API of popular existing Internet services through Web service wrappers. These wrappers use the API of, for instance, Google, but provide functionality that is richer. Initial experience shows that major performance gains can be achieved through this approach.
