Abstract: With the fast-paced development of the Chinese internet environment, people have learned to use the internet, and recently, the mobile internet. Users grown up in such an environment will have different interests, ways and reasons of using, and information needs. In order to obtain a better understanding on Chinese internet and mobile internet user behavior and examine the differences among the age groups of 20s, 30s, and 40s, an ethnographic study was conducted in Xi'an, China. This paper is a case study illustrating the various user behaviors on the internet and mobile internet for different age groups of people.

Abstract: In information age, both governments and enterprises need intelligent platform to provide dynamic, real-time intelligent information processing service. This paper describes an Agent Grid based Intelligent Platform AGrIP to support service layer information processing. AGrIP integrates a comprehensive set of tools to compose a whole platform that will enable straightforward management of large-scale information from Internet and then apply data mining, case base reasoning and expert system to aid practical enterprise applications.

The BioWAP service facilitates access to basic bioinformatics databases and analysis tools from everywhere without a PC or a laptop computer. Both open source bioinformatics. program suites and Internet services, which are not designed for mobile Internet access, were utilized in the BioWAP service.

Abstract: The application and development of the Internet of Things have close relationship with the construction of smart grid. Generally, each of electrical equipment can be connected together by wireless communication technology and sensing technology in the Internet of Things to make the smart grid become a real-time interactive electrical network. This paper summarizes the development situation, analyzes its structure and characteristics and introduces the key technologies supporting the application of the Internet of Things. In view of the functions and features of the Internet of Things and the development requirements of smart grid, it analyzes the specific application scope and level of the Internet of Things in the smart grid. It makes some concrete analysis and discussion about the application of the Internet of Things in the asset management and remote automatic reading meter system of smart grid and summaries and prospects the application situation of the Internet of Things in the smart grid
