Abstract: Our study group isolated five kinds of C-glycoside Flavones which were already known,when we were researching the chemical composition of the leaves of Belamcanda chinensis grown in Hainan island.They are swertisin、2"-O-rhamnosylswertisin、isovitexin、2"-O-rhamnosylisovitexin、Mangiferin respectively.Among all these compounds,the first two show high content.In this paper,the pharmacological effects of the five compounds are reviewed.

Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate the chemical constituents from the leaves of Dipsacu sativus(Linn.) Honck..METHODS The compounds were isolated by using various column chromatographic techniques and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral analysis.RESULTS Six compounds were isolated and identified as β-daucosterol(Ⅰ),saponarin(Ⅱ),apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅲ),isovitexin(Ⅳ),isoorientin(Ⅴ) and luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅵ).CONCLUSION Compound Ⅰ-Ⅵ were isolated from Dipsacu sativus for the first time,and compound Ⅱ-Ⅵ were isolated from the Dipsacus genus for the first time.

Abstract: Seven flavonoids were isolated from the aerial part of Moraea sisyrinchium (L.) Ker Gawl. They were identified as apigenin, apigenin 7-O-β-glucopyranoside, luteolin 7-O-β- glucopyranoside, isovitexin, orientin, isoorientin and saponarin. Their structures were established on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic analysis and by comparison with the literature data.
