TL;DR: In this article, a streamline boss type cylinder bottom structure was improved to match the bottom shape of a traditional crushing cylinder body with the crushing zone flow field formed by the spray nozzles, and the purpose of improving the crushing efficiency and the yield of the entire jet mill was achieved.
Abstract: The invention discloses a jet mill according with a crushing zone flow field The jet mill comprises a crushing cylinder body, and a crushing zone is arranged on the lower portion of the crushing cylinder body An air distribution plate is arranged outside the crushing zone, and the air distribution plate is communicated with an external compressed air source through an air inlet tube Compressed air is distributed through the air distribution plate and then is supplied to a plurality of spray nozzles in the crushing cylinder body The middle of the bottom of the crushing cylinder body retracts towards the crushing zone by a preset height to form a boss, and an annular groove is formed in the periphery of the boss According to the jet mill, a conical cylinder structure of a traditional crushing cylinder body is improved to be a streamline boss type cylinder bottom structure, and the bottom shape of the crushing cylinder body can be matched with the crushing zone flow field formed by the spray nozzles; accordingly, materials at the bottom of the crushing cylinder body can be fully crushed, and the purposes of improving the crushing efficiency and the yield of the entire jet mill, reducing the material residual quantity in the crushing cylinder body after crushing, reducing the height of the entire jet mill and reducing the occupied space are achieved

TL;DR: In this paper, a jet mill is used to extract spherical silica without containing coarse fused grains in high yield by selectively disintegrating the coarse fused particles produced by flame spraying siliceous fine powdery particles using a jet filter.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To readily obtain spherical silica without containing coarse fused grains in high yield by selectively disintegrating the coarse fused grains produced by flame spraying siliceous fine powdery particles using a jet mill. CONSTITUTION:Siliceous fine powdery particles are subjected to treatment including at least flame spraying and coarse fused grains produced by the aforementioned treatment are selectively disintegrated using a jet mill. Thereby, the objective spherical silica is obtained. The jet mill is a device for causing mutual collision and mutual friction of fused grains with an accelerated fluid and pulverizing a raw material. In the above-mentioned jet mill, jet flow velocity is regulated to 50-500m/sec and disintegration treatment can be carried out under the aforementioned pulverizing conditions to selectively disintegrate only the coarse fused grains without pulverizing primary particles. Furthermore, the objective grains can be readily classified by changing the jet flow velocity.

TL;DR: In this article, a mixture of polysaccharides and granulated sugar is pulverized into powder having an average particle diameter of 20 μm or less by a jet mill.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a candy having no discomfort roughness, making a moist feel with thickness in the mouth; and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: Thickening polysaccharides and granulated sugar are mixed with each other and pulverized into powder having an average particle diameter of 20 μm or less by a jet mill. Without being dissolved in water, the powder is directly blended with a hard candy. Consequently, the powder is present in a scattered powdery state or in a layered powdery state in the internal part or in the surface layer part of a final product.
