TL;DR: In this paper, a representation of these classical distributions as points in the parameter space of the H-function parameters is developed, together with a geometric representation of some common algebraic operations on random variables.
Abstract: SYNOPTIC ABSTRACTThe H-function is a general mathematical function which include families of statistical distributions; these include most classical univariate statistical distributions. A representation of these classical distributions as points in the parameter space of the H-function parameters is developed, together with a geometric representation of some common algebraic operations on random variables. Techniques for estimation of the H-function parameters using the “method of moments” are also given.

TL;DR: In this paper, the representation of probability distribution functions by Walsh series expansions is discussed, and the resulting expansions are consequently utilized in the derivation of useful expressions for the moments of corresponding probability distributions.
Abstract: This paper discusses the representation of probability distribution functions by Walsh series expansions. Generally, such expansions may be employed for the representation of multivariate distributions. However, we confine attention here to univariate and bivariate distributions. The resulting expansions are consequently utilized in the derivation of useful expressions for the moments of corresponding probability distributions. Applications of Walsh expansions of probability distributions are further illustrated by computing output moments for some general classes of nonlinear systems.

TL;DR: The probability density and power spectrum density of simulated clutter are presented, proving the validity and veracity of clutter modeling by the method of ZMNL.
Abstract: Radar environmental clutter plays an important role in the simulation of radar environment, statistical characterization of which can be described by the amplitude distribution model and power spectrum model. The model of Rayleigh, LogNormal, Weibull and K distribution radar clutter are analyzed and modeled and some kinds of radar clutter, such as ground, weather, chaff and sea clutter are modeled and simulated. The simulation emphasis is to give the practical process according to the method of ZMNL. lastly, the probability density and power spectrum density of simulated clutter are presented, proving the validity and veracity of clutter modeling by the method of ZMNL. The simulated signal can be used in the simulation of radar clutter systems.
