TL;DR: In this paper, a radar sea clutter adaptive inhibition processing method based on parameter selection is proposed, which consists of firstly, performing data statistics on the preset first N frames of radar echo data by use of the first n frames of echo data scanned by the radar to obtain various model characteristic parameter values of the data, and then substituting the parameter values in a Rayleigh distribution model, a logarithm normal distribution model and a Weibull distribution model to select the closest model and taking the model as a sea clutter cancellation background, and finally, performing cancellation processing on
Abstract: The invention discloses a radar sea clutter adaptive inhibition processing method based on parameter selection. The radar sea clutter adaptive inhibition processing method based on parameter selection comprises the steps of firstly, performing data statistics on the preset first N frames of radar echo data by use of the first N frames of echo data scanned by the radar to obtain various model characteristic parameter values of the data, secondly, substituting the parameter values in a Rayleigh distribution model, a logarithm normal distribution model, a Weibull distribution model and a K distribution model, respectively, thereby obtaining a distribution curve chart of the four models, and then comparing the distribution curve chart with the distribution curve chart of the radar echo data to select the closest model and taking the model as a sea clutter cancellation background, and finally, performing cancellation processing on the subsequent N+i (i=1,2,3...) frames of radar echo data and the background; as a result, adaptive inhibition of the radar sea clutter jamming is realized and the capability of a ship radar in target detection is improved.

TL;DR: A procedure for obtaining the mean density of clusters and their associated structures in a very general type of distribution is presented and how this quantity may be evaluated for different types of distributions is shown.
Abstract: We present a procedure for obtaining the mean density of clusters and their associated structures in a very general type of distribution. We first consider the one-dimensional case, and then use it to develop the procedure according to the d-dimensional case. These procedures require the probability that a randomly placed body should contain no points. We show how this quantity may be evaluated for different types of distributions. The particular case of spherical clusters in three dimensions is treated in detail.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered one-parameter families of distributions which are of the general exponential type, the general series distribution type, or which can be transformed into the exponential type by a one-to-one transformation.
Abstract: *• Summary. We consider one-parameter families of distributions which are of the general exponential type, the general series distribution type, or which can be transformed into the exponential type by a one-to-one transformation. In this paper we establish theorems to the effect that such dis tributions may be characterized by a simple differential equation involving the mean function. It is illustrated that almost all the classical one-parameter families of distributions are characterized by these theorems. Multivariate generalizations are given, and it is also noticed that the functional form of the normalizing factor determines the specific distribution in each general family,
