18 May 2021TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered the calculation of the estimated probability of the possible occurrence of high loading cycles in the power structures of transport engineering, which can significantly affect their carrying capacity and resource.
Abstract: The paper considers the calculation of the estimated probability of the possible occurrence of high loading cycles in the power structures of transport engineering, which can significantly affect their carrying capacity and resource. The latter is caused by the possible occurrence of local deformations of structures, leading to the origin of tired microfractures. The study was conducted on the basis of the analysis of the loads affecting the landing gear of aircraft when driving on the runway and in the process of moving on taxiways in the area of airfields. By processing and analyzing the results of experimental studies, obtained by tensometering of chassis parts of several types of aircraft in the most loaded zones, the law of distribution of maximum variable congestion cycles has been defined alongside with the loads acting on the power parts of transport aircraft in different operating conditions. The parameters of this law are set for the most responsible parts of the aircraft’s chassis, and the probability of rare load cycles of voltage strains above a certain level during the operation of the aircraft is calculated.

03 Feb 2005TL;DR: In this paper, an aircraft landing gear door comprises a rigid one-piece panel, hinged onto the aircraft structure by arms, installed such that it pivots on the arms to prevent any risk of contact between the panel and the wheels as the door opens and closes when the landing gear is extended.
Abstract: An aircraft landing gear door comprises a rigid one-piece panel ( 14 ), hinged onto the aircraft structure by arms ( 18 ). The panel ( 14 ) is installed such that it pivots on the arms ( 18 ) in order to prevent any risk of contact between the panel ( 14 ) and the wheels ( 40 ) as the door opens and closes when the landing gear is extended, and a jack ( 34 ) automatically varies the angle Φ formed between these two parts, according to a predetermined kinematic law. A control system ( 28 ) automatically controls the jack ( 34 ) as a function of the jack ( 26 ) being actuated to control opening and closing of the door.

07 Nov 2008TL;DR: In this paper, a method of feeding energy to actuators associated with the undercarriages forming the landing gear of an aircraft was proposed, where the aircraft consisted of a main power supply that operates independently of rotation of wheels carried by landing gear; and a local power supply comprising one or more local generators, each driven by rotation of a wheel carried by an undercarriage.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of feeding energy to actuators associated with the undercarriages forming the landing gear of an aircraft, the aircraft comprising: a main power supply that operates independently of rotation of wheels carried by the landing gear; and a local power supply comprising one or more local generators, each driven by rotation of a wheel carried by an undercarriage; the method of the invention comprising the following steps: in a nominal mode of operation, powering said actuators by the local power supply; and in an additional mode of operation, when the delivery of energy by the local power supply is not sufficient, providing additional energy or all of the energy required by said actuators by means of the main power supply.

TL;DR: In this paper, an aircraft landing gear comprising a landing gear leg is described, where the landing gear is either made of fiber composite material or one or more parts of the leg is made of the same material.
Abstract: The invention relates to an aircraft landing gear comprising a landing gear leg, wherein the landing gear leg or one or more parts of the landing gear leg consists partly or completely of a fiber composite material.
