TL;DR: The paper product is produced by impregnating base paper during or after the paper-making process with a processing liquid that contains one or more of hydrocarbons such as liquid paraffin and squalane, plant oils such as olive oil and camellia oil, waxes such as beeswax and lanolin, higher alcohols such as cetanol and stearyl alcohol, and also a water-soluble wax, such as polyethylene glycol having average molecular weight of 1000-20,000 as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a paper product that is less prone to be affected by environmental changes, maintains stable touch feeling, excels in safety and strength, and is suitable for household paper by impregnating base paper in the paper making process with a processing liquid that contains oily materials, such as hydrocarbons and plant oils, and water-soluble wax. SOLUTION: This paper product is produced by impregnating base paper during or after the paper-making process with a processing liquid that contains one or more of hydrocarbons such as liquid paraffin and squalane, plant oils such as olive oil and camellia oil, waxes such as beeswax and lanolin, higher alcohols such as cetanol and stearyl alcohol, and also a water-soluble wax, such as polyethylene glycol having average molecular weight of 1000-20,000. Furthermore this paper product contains preferably a humectant, fatty acids, silicones and surfactants. COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
