TL;DR: In this article, a laser welding diamond round saw blade and a preparation method of powder metallurgy material were used for solving the problem that the laser-welding diamond-round saw blade has lower speed and easy edge feed when used for cutting hard stones.
Abstract: The invention relates to a laser welding diamond round saw blade and a preparation method thereof, which belong to the technical field of powder metallurgy material The saw blade is used for solving the problem that the laser welding diamond round saw blade has lower speed and easy edge feed when used for cutting hard stones The material of a cutting head is prepared from the following powder raw materials by weight percentage: 36 to 46 percent of copper, 28 to 38 percent of iron, 10 to 20 percent of cobalt, 3 to 10 percent of nickel, 3 to 9 percent of tin, 1 to 25 percent of silicon-chromium alloy, 1 to 16 percent of liquid paraffin wax and 10 to 22 percent of diamond, wherein the silicon-chromium alloy contains 40 percent of silicon, 30 percent of chromium and the balance being iron and small quantities of impurities according to mass proportion The method adopts a mixed base material of the copper, the iron and the cobalt to improve the service life and the sintering performance of the saw blade and the added silicon-chromium alloy powder is dispersively distributed in a fetal body, thereby effectively improving the sintering performance of the fetal body so as to make the fetal body accelerate an alloying process At the same time, the self-sharpening performance of the fetal body is improved, the holding force of the fetal body to the diamond is enhanced and the service life and the cutting performance of the saw blade are improved, thereby making the wear performance of the fetal body and the wear performance of the diamond be matched

TL;DR: The optimization of a formulation of Lactococcus lactis DPC3147 that produces the two-component bacteriocin lacticin 3147 in a liquid paraffin-based emulsion is described for the first time and it is found that the L. lactis cells within this novel emulsion-based formulation remained viable for up to 5 weeks, when stored at 4, 22, or 37°C.
Abstract: Bovine mastitis is an ongoing significant concern in the dairy and agricultural industry resulting in substantial losses in milk production and revenue. Among the predominant etiological agents of bovine mastitis are Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, and Escherichia coli. Currently, the treatment of choice for bovine mastitis involves the use of commercial therapeutic antibiotic formulations such as TerrexineTM, containing both kanamycin and cephalexin. Such antibiotics are regularly administered in more than one dose resulting in the withholding of milk for processing for a number of days. Here, we describe the optimization of a formulation of Lactococcus lactis DPC3147, that produces the two-component bacteriocin lacticin 3147, in a liquid paraffin-based emulsion (formulation hereafter designated 'live bio-therapeutic') for the first time and compare it to the commercial antibiotic formulation TerrexineTM, with a view to treating cows with clinical/sub-clinical mastitis. Critically, in a field trial described here, this 'ready-to-use' emulsion containing live L. lactis DPC3147 cells exhibited comparable efficacy to TerrexineTM when used to treat mastitic cows. Furthermore, we found that the L. lactis cells within this novel emulsion-based formulation remained viable for up to 5 weeks, when stored at 4, 22, or 37°C. The relative ease and cost-effective nature of producing this 'live bio-therapeutic' formulation, in addition to its enhanced shelf life compared to previous aqueous-based formulations, indicate that this product could be a viable alternative therapeutic option for bovine mastitis. Moreover, the single-dose administration of this 'live bio-therapeutic' formulation is a further advantage, as it can expedite the return of the milk to the milk pool, in comparison to some commercial antibiotics. Overall, in this field trial, we show that the live bio-therapeutic formulation displayed a 47% cure rate compared to a 50% cure rate for a commercial antibiotic control, with respect to curing cows with clinical/sub-clinical mastitis. The study suggests that a larger field trial to further demonstrate efficacy is warranted.

TL;DR: Phloretin has possible chemopreventive role in which modulating the antioxidant and detoxification enzyme status, thereby retarding DMBA induced buccal pouch carcinogenesis in male golden Syrian hamsters is examined.
Abstract: Objectives: The present study was designed to examine the chemopreventive effects of phloretin against 7, 12-dimethylbenz (a) anthracene (DMBA) induced buccal pouch carcinogenesis in male golden Syrian hamsters in order to discover resources to improve the traditional medicine. Materials and Methods: Hamsters were divided into four groups of 10 animals each. Group I was served as an untreated control. Group II hamsters were painted with 0.5% DMBA in liquid paraffin on the left buccal pouches three times a week for 14 weeks. Group III hamsters were orally administrated with phloretin at a dose of 40 mg/kg body Weight (b.wt) on days alternate to DMBA application. Group IV hamsters were orally administrated with phloretin alone and served as the drug control. The experiment was terminated at the end of fourteenth week. The experimental animal's tumors were subjected into morphological examination and subsequently screened the pathological changes and estimate the activities of bi-products of lipid peroxidation, antioxidants enzymes and phase I and II detoxification enzyme status. Results: In DMBA alone treated hamster showed increased levels of lipid peroxidation by products, leads to decreased levels of enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants status, activities of phase I and II detoxification enzyme status were altered. Normalized the neoplastic changes, decreased the levels of lipid by products, retain the antioxidants and restored the phase I and II enzymes were observed in phloretin administrated animals during DMBA induced oral carcinogenesis. Conclusion: Phloretin has possible chemopreventive role in which modulating the antioxidant and detoxification enzyme status, thereby retarding DMBA induced buccal pouch carcinogenesis.

TL;DR: In this paper, double-chain bis (sulfonate) compounds were investigated in a mixed system of liquid paraffin and water and shown to be easily soluble in water.
Abstract: Double-chain diol compounds and double-chain bis (sulfonate) surfactants, each bearing a sulfur atom as a sulfide, sulfoxide, or sulfone in the middle of the connecting part between two alkyl chains, were prepared. The emulsifying properties of the double-chain diols were studied in a mixed system of liquid paraffin and water. The double-chain bis (sulfonate) compounds bearing two decyl groups as the lipophilic part were easily soluble in water. Some surface-active properties of the surfactants bearing a sulfur atom in the connecting part were examined along with a similar type of double-chain surfactant having an oxygen atom in place of a sulfur atom. Displacement of the ether oxygen in the middle of the connecting group by the sulfide sulfur atom caused a slight decrease in cmc. A bulky group such as sulfinyl or sulfonyl in the middle of the connecting part negatively affected the micelle forming properties and the capacity to lessen surface tension. The double-chain bis (sulfonate) surfactants showed much greater lime-soap dispersing ability than sodium 1-dodecanesulfonate.
