TL;DR: In this paper, a magneto-optic experiment was conducted in which ferromagnetic domains have been directly observed in high coercivity chemically deposited cobalt films, and the results showed that the magnetic domains can be observed directly in the films.
Abstract: A magneto-optic experiment is reported in which ferromagnetic domains have been directly observed in high coercivity chemically deposited cobalt films.

TL;DR: In this article, a flywheel magneto is used to charge an internal combustion engine with an ignition coil, which is operated by an alternating current generator, and a capacitor is discharged at the moment of ignition.
Abstract: 1,111,535. Ignition systems. FAHRZEUGELEKTRIK KARL-MARX-STADT VEB. Oct.20, 1966, No.47025/66. Heading F1B. An ignition device for internal combustion engines which is operated by an alternating current generator, preferably by a flywheel magneto 1, comprises an ignition coil 8 having a primary winding 7 to which there is connected a capacitor 6 which capacitor is discharged at the moment of ignition. In addition to a first winding 3 in the magneto which charges the capacitor there is provided a second winding 11 in series with which there is a resistor 13 which is connected directly with the capacitor. One winding provides a voltage curve which rises steeply at low magneto speed and falls away at higher speeds and the other winding provides a voltage curve which rises more slowly to a substantially constant value so that the resultant curve, where the two curves cross, is as flat as possible and the resultant curve at higher speeds is substantially constant. The thyristor 9 is triggered for the timing of the discharge of the capacitor. The conductor 10 is preferably connected with a pulse emitter (not shown). The thyristor can be replaced by a cam controlled interrupter.

TL;DR: In this paper, a small modification of the conventional Fourier integral method was used in the analysis of the DHVA type oscillations in zinc, and the results showed that the modification was a useful technique in analyzing the oscillations.

TL;DR: In this paper, the radiation fields from electric and magnetic current density sources, arbitrarily distributed in unbounded warm plasma with arbitrarily directed static magnetic field, are evaluated by using Fourier integral transform.
Abstract: The radiation fields from electric and magnetic current density sources, arbitrarily distributed in unbounded warm plasma with arbitrarily directed static magnetic field, are evaluated by using Fourier integral transform. The final results are expressed in terms of dyadic Green’s functions.
