TL;DR: A magneto resistive transducer arrangement in which a magneto-resilient transducers element is biassed by a periodic bidirectional magnetic field is described in this article.
Abstract: A magneto resistive transducer arrangement in which a magneto resistive transducer element is biassed by a periodic bidirectional magnetic field. A lack of coincidence between a minimum in the resistance of the element and a zero in the biassing field indicates the presence of an external field. The arrangement may be used for recovering information in a magnetisable record medium.

TL;DR: In this paper, a breakerless magneto ignition system having a stator assembly including an ignition coil and core is described. But the circuit is not designed for the use of a generator.
Abstract: A breakerless magneto ignition system having a stator assembly including an ignition coil and core. A solid state gate turn-off switch (GTO) is connected by its anode-cathode electrodes in circuit with the primary winding of the ignition coil for conducting primary current. A solid state switching component is connected in circuit with the control electrode or gate of the GTO and with a capacitor which is charged by current generated in the primary winding in one direction as a result of magneto rotation. The stator assembly includes a trigger coil circumferentially spaced from a leg of the core of the ignition coil a distance approximately equal to the edge distance of the magneto to provide a trigger pulse. The trigger pulse is applied to a control electrode of the solid state switching device for switching the device to its conductive state whereby the charge on said capacitor provides a voltage polarity which causes the main current flow in the GTO to be shunted by its gate electrode from its anode-cathode path, thereby opening the primary circuit to cause an ignition pulse to be induced in the secondary winding of the ignition coil.

TL;DR: An electrical measuring apparatus comprising a current domain magnetometer (C.D.M) and summation means (2) for summing the output pulses from the C.D., the sum of the summation mean representing the integral of a predetermined function of the voltage and magnetic flux applied to the C., with respect to time as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: An electrical measuring apparatus comprising a current domain magnetometer (C.D.M.) (1) and summation means (2) for summing the output pulses from the C.D.M., the sum of the summation means representing the integral of a predetermined function of the voltage and magnetic flux applied to the C.D.M. with respect to time. The predetermined function may be proportional to the product of the voltage and magnetic flux and the apparatus may produce measurements of voltage, magnetic flux, power or phase angle.

TL;DR: A stress apparatus is reported which allows us to apply forces up to 300 N to solids perpendicular to the field in a superconducting magnet to study stress dependences of transverse magneto-transport effects and Magneto-optical properties in Faraday geometry.
Abstract: A stress apparatus is reported which allows us to apply forces up to 300 N to solids perpendicular to the field in a superconducting magnet. This configuration is necessary to study stress dependences of transverse magneto‐transport effects and magneto‐optical properties in Faraday geometry. The usefulness of the apparatus is demonstrated by Hall effect and transverse magnetoresistance measurements in n‐InSb as well as far‐infrared cyclotron resonance experiments on n‐Ge.

TL;DR: In this article, an apparatus for magneto-optical measurements is described which has the following features: the sample holder, machined in aluminium and supplied with a copper sheath, balances the thermal expansion of the materials and restricts the sample shift to 40 mu m when the temperature is varied between 1.7 and 300K.
Abstract: An apparatus for magneto-optical measurements is described which has the following features: The sample holder, machined in aluminium and supplied with a copper sheath, balances the thermal expansion of the materials and restricts the sample shift to 40 mu m when the temperature is varied between 1.7 and 300K; the chamber containing the superconducting coil has a small capacity (5 l of liquid helium); two samples can be fixed to the sample holder and can then be studied by cooling the cryostat only once. Some experimental results are given as an illustration.
