TL;DR: In this paper, the mass action law is used to derive expressions for the equilibrium carrier concentration and net steady-state recombination rate in a semiconductor containing impurities capable of being multiplyionized.
Abstract: The mass action law is used to derive expressions for the equilibrium carrier concentration and net steady-state recombination rate in a semiconductor containing impurities capable of being multiplyionized. The results are in agreement with those found by other treatments and can easily be modified to apply to the degenerate case.
