TL;DR: In this paper, a mass spectrum of the formm2=Ml(Ml+|αl|) is derived, whereαl is the imaginary part of thel-th singularity in the complex energy plane of aT-matrix which describes the interaction of a particle of initial rest massm with a potentialV(x,t), whereV(ax,t)=0 in the limit |t|→∞.
Abstract: A mass spectrum of the formm2=Ml(Ml+|αl|) is derived, whereαl is the imaginary part of thel-th singularity in the complex energy plane of aT-matrix which describes the interaction of a particle of initial rest massm with a potentialV(x,t), whereV(x,t)=0 in the limit |t|→∞. The same mass formula, withαl replaced by (αl/2), is obtained for two particles, each of initial rest massm, interacting via the potentialV(x,t) where herex is the relative distance between the particles. This spectrum is found to give, within 1%, the mass of all baryons less than or equal to the mass of the Ω− ifm is taken as 1747 MeV andαl (orαl/2) is a small integral multiple of the K and π meson masses. Comparison to the Gell-Mann-Okubo formula relates these integers to the hypercharge and the isotopic spin.

TL;DR: A mass formula for self-orthogonal codes over Z_{p^2}, where p is a prime, is established, which includes a mass formulas for Type II quaternary codes as a special case.
Abstract: In this note, we establish a mass formula for self-orthogonal codes over Z_{p^2}, where p is a prime. As a consequence, an alternative proof of the known mass formulas for self-dual codes over Z_{p^2} is obtained. We also establish a mass formula for even quaternary codes, which includes a mass formula for Type II quaternary codes as a special case.

TL;DR: In this paper, an attempt was made to classify the newly discovered heavy mesons into broken SU(3)' x SU( 3)'' (color) multiplets, where mass formulas and decay properties were discussed in connection with a suggestive scheme of symmetry breaking.
Abstract: An attempt is made to classify the newly discovered heavy mesons into broken SU(3)' x SU(3)'' (color) multiplets. Mass formulas and decay properties are discussed in connection with a suggestive scheme of symmetry breaking. The model leads to numerous predictions which will soon allow it to be substantiated or rejected on the basis of experiment. One of them is the existence of a broad resonance at approx.4.8 GeV in the photon channel. From presently known experimental data or theoretical considerations no stringent objections arise; on the contrary, several facts do favor this approach. (AIP)

TL;DR: In this article, a model based on the MIT Bag Model for particles containing one heavy quark was proposed, which eliminates the colour electric and the colour magnetic energy terms in the mass formula, by replacing them by a renormalization of the constants of the model.
