TL;DR: In this article, a methodological approach of wide generality for assessing the reliability of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures is presented, in which the model is not defined through a set of fixed values, but through bands of values, bounded between suitable minimum and maximum extremes.

TL;DR: An approach to multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information is developed based on the IIFWGA and the IIFHGA operators.
Abstract: Methods for aggregating interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information are investigated. Some operational laws of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, score function and accuracy function of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are intriduced. Based on these operational laws, some aggregation operators, including interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted geometric aggregation (IIFOWGA) operator and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy hybrid geometric aggregation (IIFHGA) operator, are proposed. An approach to multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information is developed based on the IIFWGA and the IIFHGA operators. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

TL;DR: This work uses the fuzzy Lyapunov synthesis as proposed by Margaliot and Langholz to build a stable type-1 fuzzy logic control system, and makes an extension that ensures the stability on the control system and proves the robustness of the corresponding fuzzy controller.
Abstract: Stability is one of the more important aspects in the traditional knowledge of automatic control. Type-2 fuzzy logic is an emerging and promising area for achieving intelligent control (in this case, fuzzy control). In this work we use the fuzzy Lyapunov synthesis as proposed by Margaliot and Langholz [M. Margaliot, G. Langholz, New Approaches to Fuzzy Modeling and Control: Design and Analysis, World Scientific, Singapore, 2000] to build a Lyapunov stable type-1 fuzzy logic control system, and then we make an extension from a type-1 to a type-2 fuzzy logic control system, ensuring the stability on the control system and proving the robustness of the corresponding fuzzy controller.

TL;DR: The application of the fuzzy sets theory and the statistical decision theory to the decision problems in fuzzy events leads to a specific formulation of fuzzy decision problems and the definitions of entropy, worth of information, and quantity of information.
Abstract: For decision problems in the real world, states of nature, information, and actions should be viewed as fuzzy events. The application of the fuzzy sets theory and the statistical decision theory to the decision problems in fuzzy events leads to a specific formulation of fuzzy decision problems and the definitions of entropy, worth of information, and quantity of information. Some results which are analogous to those in the statistical decision theory are given in this paper.

TL;DR: The concepts of truth value restriction and fuzzy logical relation are used to give a general approach to fuzzy logic and also fuzzy reasoning involving propositions with imprecise or vague description.
