TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the thermopower across the metamagnetic transition of the heavy fermion compound CeRu${}_{2}$Si${}_2]$ at temperatures down to 0.1 K and magnetic fields up to 11.5 T.
Abstract: We have measured the thermopower across the metamagnetic transition of the heavy fermion compound CeRu${}_{2}$Si${}_{2}$ at temperatures down to 0.1 K and magnetic fields up to 11.5 T. We find a large negative enhancement of the thermopower on crossing the metamagnetic field, as well as a sudden change in slope. We argue that this is consistent with the Zeeman-driven deformation of the Fermi surface through a topological transition. The field dependence of the thermopower highlights the discrepancy between thermodynamic and transport properties across the metamagnetic transition.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors attempt to model the metamagnetic behavior exhibited by the heavy fermion compound CeRu 2 Si 2 using the slave boson formulation of the periodic Anderson model and find a tendency to metamagnetism when they include the anisotropy of the hybridisation matrix element.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors performed a systematic investigation of magnetization and magnetoresistance measurements both as a function of magnetic field and temperature and concluded that the variation of electrical and magnetic transition temperatures is explained on the basis of size variance parameter.

TL;DR: Magnetization curves obtained on a tetragonal GdRu 2 Si 2 single crystal along the [100] and [001] axes are presented in this article, where they exhibit several metamagnetic transitions and a strong anisotropy, a behaviour quite unusual in a Gd compound.
