TL;DR: The field-induced magnetic transition in GdSi has been investigated in this article, where the critical field of the metamagnetic transition decreases linearly with the square of temperature T 2 for the GdM (M=Si, Al and Ge) equiatomic compounds.
Abstract: The field-induced magnetic transition in GdSi has been investigated. The Neel temperature and the paramagnetic Curie temperature are 55 K and -8 K, respectively. The metamagnetic transition occurs at a magnetic field of 197 kOe at 4.2 K. The critical field of the metamagnetic transition decreases linearly with the square of temperature T 2 . For the GdM ( M=Si, Al and Ge) equiatomic compounds, the linear relationship between the critical field and the Neel temperature has been confirmed.

TL;DR: In this paper, a single crystal of a novel cerium silicide CeRh3Si2 was grown by the Czochralski pulling method in a tetra-arc furnace and studied by means of X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements.
Abstract: High-quality single crystal of a novel cerium silicide CeRh3Si2 was grown by the Czochralski pulling method in a tetra-arc furnace and studied by means of X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. The compound crystallizes with an orthorhombic structure of the CeRh3Si2-type. It orders antiferromagnetically at T N = 4.5 K and undergoes a subsequent antiferromagnetic phase transition just below T N . The magnetic behavior exhibits strong easy-plane magnetocrystalline anisotropy with the crystallographic a-axis being the hard magnetization direction. The magnetic ordering in CeRh3Si2 is very sensitive to applied magnetic field, what manifests itself in the occurrence of several successive metamagnetic transitions and a few field-dependent singularities in the magnetic susceptibility.

TL;DR: ErCo2−30 mole % ErAl2 (MgZn2 type structure) shows discontinuous increases of magnetization with field at 4.2 K as mentioned in this paper, which points at the presence of unusual (possibly very thin) domain walls.

TL;DR: In this paper, a metamagnetism of the 3d-band was observed on the 3g-site of ThCo5 with equal moments (1.50 μB).
Abstract: ThCo5 is ferromagnetic, the Co moment on the 3g-site (0.9 μB) is lower than that on the 2c-site (1.2 μB). In high fields, or in alloys slightly richer in Co, a structure of equal moments (1.50 μB) is observed. Above a critical value of the magnetic interactions, a metamagnetism of the 3d-band appears on the 3g-site.
