TL;DR: In this article, the specific heat, magnetization and magnetoresistance of Nd x La 1-x B 6 (x = 0.9, 0.8, and 0.7) single crystals and obtained their magnetic phase diagrams.
Abstract: We have studied the specific heat, magnetization and magnetoresistance of Nd x La 1- x B 6 ( x =0.9, 0.8, 0.7) single crystals and obtained their magnetic phase diagrams. The antiferro (AF) magnetic phase for H ∥ is divided into two phases of AFI below H c1 and AFII * (or AFII) above H c1 . In the AFI phase, there exists the component of the parallel magnetic susceptibility up to H c1 . The intermediate metamagnetic AFII phase in NdB 6 disappears already for x =0.9 and in place, new AFII * phase appears. The AFII * phase is considered to be the spin-canted phase characterized by the perpendicular magnetic susceptibility. However, the magnetization in the AFII * phase for x =0.9 and 0.8 exhibits the unusual behavior that the extrapolation of the magnetization curve down to H =0 takes a large negative magnetization value. This unusual behavior disappears at x =0.7. These results indicate that the interaction forming the interamediate metamagnetic AFII phase is rapidly suppressed by the La doping and di...

TL;DR: In this article, the high-field magnetizations of Y(Co1-xAlx)2Hy have been measured for 0≤x≤0.075 and 0 ≥y≤3.44 in pulsed high magnetic fields up to 42 T. A weak spontaneous moment appears in all the hydrides, which originates from a partial structural disordering induced by hydrogen absorption.
Abstract: The high-field magnetizations of Y(Co1-xAlx)2Hy have been measured for 0≤x≤0.075 and 0≤y≤3.44 in pulsed high magnetic fields up to 42 T. The itinerant metamagnetic transition is broadened, but clearly observed in Y(Co0.925Al0.075)2Hy with y≤0.72. The value of the critical field Bc of the transition decreases nearly linearly with increasing hydrogen content in the region y<0.28, which is consistent with the decrease of the transition field due to Al substitution for Co in the parent compound. A weak spontaneous moment appears in all the hydrides, which originates from a partial structural disordering of the lattice induced by hydrogen absorption.

TL;DR: In this paper, a self-compensated semimetal was found to be a metamagnetic compound with a T N of 31 K. This is mainly due to an exchange splitting of the conduction d band.

TL;DR: In this article, the magnetization process in the low-temperature phase of DyNi2Si2 was studied by means of neutron diffraction experiments on a single crystal and the magnetic structure changes to another one with a spin-flip process when the field is applied along the c-axis.
