TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of intermetallic compound DyRhIn5 in single crystalline shape by self-flux method, the structural characterization through of powder X-ray diffraction measurements at room temperature and the magnetic characterization by dc magnetization measurements as a function of temperature and magnetic field applied.
Abstract: In this work we present the synthesis of intermetallic compound DyRhIn5 in single crystalline shape by self-flux method, the structural characterization through of powder X-ray diffraction measurements at room temperature and the magnetic characterization by dc magnetization measurements as a function of temperature and magnetic field applied. The magnetic measurements were carried out using a commercial magnetometer MPMS-7 with SQUID detection, applying the magnetic field along and perpendicular to the c-axis of single crystals. The compound was formed in a single phase with tetragonal structure HoCoGa5-type, belonging to the space group P4/mmm, with lattice parameters equals to a = b = 4.585A and c = 7.359A. This compound showed an antiferromagnetic order with Neel Temperature of 28K when the magnetic field of 1 kOe was applied along to the c-axis, of which a typical Curie-Weiss behavior above Neel Temperature was observed. In the magnetic hysteresis curves at T = 2 and 5 K, with the magnetic field applied parallel to the c-axis, a metamagnetic behavior was observed.

TL;DR: In this paper , the magnetic torque and temperature-dependent AMR measurements indicate that the spin order dominates the symmetry of AMR curves at temperature below Neel temperature (TN) and low magnetic fields.
Abstract: We have performed detailed magnetic and anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) measurements on a magnetic-field-induced topological Weyl semimetal, TbPtBi, exhibiting a weak metamagnetic transition in the antiferromagnetic state. The magnetic torque and temperature-dependent AMR measurements indicate that the spin order dominates the symmetry of AMR curves at temperature below Neel temperature (TN) and low magnetic fields. Remarkably, the AMR with a twofold symmetry gradually dominates the curves as the magnetic fields increase. Moreover, sign change in the AMR effect is confirmed for both T < TN and T > TN at high magnetic fields, which may be related to the magnetic field-induced splitting of the topological band in TbPtBi.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors proposed that the uranium valence fluctuation plays a crucial role in its metamagnetic and superconducting transitions, and showed that UTe2 is a spin-triplet superconductor.
Abstract: State-of-the-art magnetostriction measurements in a pulsed-magnetic field reveal the origin of a metamagnetic transition of spin-triplet superconductor UTe2. We propose that the uranium valence fluctuation plays a crucial role in its metamagnetic and superconducting transitions.

TL;DR: In this article , the influence of metamagnetism on superconductivity is studied for the field along an easy $a$-axis by AC magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) in UTe$_2$.
Abstract: Influence of metamagnetism on superconductivity is studied for the field along an easy $a$-axis by AC magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) in UTe$_2$. The improvement of crystal quality leads to an upward curvature of $T_c$($B$) above 6 T, that results in a largely enhanced upper critical field of 12 T. The entropy analysis also shows a metamagnetic crossover around 6 T. The sharp negative peak in MCE below $T_c$ indicates that the crossover becomes a transition of first-order character in the superconducting state. Our results shows that metamagnetism induces a transition inside the superconducting phase and stabilizes the superconductivity for the field along the easy axis.
