Abstract: Computer simulation is now being used in numercous scientific disciplines and is one of the most widely used operations research technique today. It is taught in comlputer science, engineering, operations research, and business schcol curricula. 130wever, the content of simulation courses are so vastly different from one institution to the next that one would have difficulty recognizing it by just looking at the content of the courses. Moreover, the simulation field is generally not part of the core curriculum in most of the academic programs. It is the fccus of this panel to discuss about simulation education in general and more specifically, the content for simulation courses and on a broader scale the content of a cumculum in simulation.
