TL;DR: In this paper, Michelia flower oil and Michelia leaf oil were analyzed by using the GC/MS method combined with computer retrieval, where 83 constituents accounting to 96.07% and 72 constitutes accounting to 98.08% of total volatiles were identified in both essential oils, respectively.
Abstract: Michelia flower oil Michelia leaf oil were analyzed by capillary GC / MS method combined with computer retrieval. 83 constituents accounting to 96. 07% of total voletiles were identified in Michelia flower oil,72 constitutes accounting to 98. 08% of total volatiles were identified in Michelia leaf oil, where 62 constitutes were the same in both essential oils. The differences in constituents between two oils were compared and the resulted variation of their scents were also suggested. Their applications in fragrances were studied in the same formulation. It provided the reference for their use in fragrances.

TL;DR: The genetic polymorphisms and relationship of 7 kinds of magnoliaceae evergreen plants with AFLP and ISSR markers showed that plants in Magnolia and Michelia were clustered together, and the genetic differences between them could be identified by molecular markers.
Abstract: To establish optimized reaction system and construct phenetic trees,we analysed the genetic polymorphisms and relationship of 7 kinds of magnoliaceae evergreen plants with AFLP and ISSR markers.7 kinds of materials were analysed with 11 screened primers by ISSR and 131 bands were obtained, and 86 of them were polymorphic bands, each primer producing 11.10 bands, with an average polymorphism detection rate of 70.37%,which indicated that the polymorphism between those plant materials germplasm was very high. And then the 7 kinds of materials were analysed with 22 pairs of EcoR Ⅰ/Mse Ⅰ primer combinations by AFLP,1 310 bands, and 1 204 of them were polymorphism bands, each pair of primer producing 59 bands, and the polymorphism rate was 92.5%.The results of these two molecular markers showed that plants in Magnolia and Michelia were clustered together, the genetic differences between them could be identified by molecular markers, however, the Manglietia duclouxii in Magnoliaceae showed the most significant differences in clustering analysis, especially compared with Michelia, although their external form were similar, the genetic distance was farther. The study also found that among these two groups of genetic similarity coefficient, there were some numbers beyond the range of 0 to 1.This phenomenon was partial separation, and it is preliminarily infered that it was related with the sources of plant materials.

Abstract: The variety of street trees applied is simple at present by way of investigating current situation in Hangzhou , which dont confirm to the status of international tourism city .Street trees should be diversified .Some hardwoods with high aesthetic value such as Liriodendron chinense , Liriodendron tulipifera , Liriodendron chinense L .tulipifera , Ginkgo biloba , Cercidiphyllum japonicum , Albiaaia julibrissin , Pseudolarix amabilis ,Magnolia denudata , and some ever-green trees with good greening effects such as Neolitsea sericea , Cinnamomum japonicum var .chenii ,Daphniphyllum macropodum ,Machilus thunbergii , Altingia gracilipes and Michelia foreolata var .cinerascens are selected for main street trees .According to five zones composed by the West Lake scenic zone , factory zone , resident zone , window zone , downtown zone , different trees are applied to form scale and specialty in accordance to different function .Furthermore , reasonable assembling between level and color should be considered in order to attain the target of different sceneries with each step , different sceneries in four seasons and green color in four seasons .
