TL;DR: In this article, a system for ordering, loading and using tickets ordered from a reservation center through transmission of order data that includes a number assigned to a mobile communications terminal is presented.
Abstract: Method and system for ordering, loading and using tickets ordered from a reservation center through transmission of order data that includes a number assigned to a mobile communications terminal. The ordered ticket is received via a mobile radio network at the mobile communications terminal, and the ticket is stored. A reading device receives ticket information contactlessly from the mobile communications terminal, and an authorization of a user of the mobile communications terminal is decided based on the ticket information.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a mobile communication system combining several mobile communication networks which may belong to different mobile communication systems (31, 33, 34, 44), in which mobile terminals can operate and establish a connection in several mobile communications networks, and the parameters on the basis of which a mobile terminal decides on a handover include, in addition to the quality of the connection, at least one other parameter.
Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile communication system combining several mobile communication networks which may belong to different mobile communication systems (31, 33, 34, 44), in which mobile terminals (43) can operate and establish a connection in several mobile communication networks. It is characteristic of the invention that the parameters on the basis of which a mobile terminal (43) decides on a handover include, in addition to the quality of the connection, at least one other parameter. The parameter may be e.g. price, capacity, transmission speed, and availability. Primarily, we can think of selection based on price and quality, i.e. PQ selection, or selection base on price, capacity and quality, i.e. PCQ selection. When the system is provided with mobile pricing and price information arrangements with which the mobile stations may freely choose the most suitable or the most advantageous of the available connections, it is created a transparent subscriber market (40) for dual-mode or multimode terminals (43), which enhances rational competition and improves the efficiency of the use of capacity in mobile communications.

TL;DR: In this paper, an approach for providing sharing of content relating to an event is described, where a plurality of mobile communication devices within a predetermined location is detected and a predetermined event is identified corresponding to the predetermined location and current time.
Abstract: An approach is disclosed for providing sharing of content relating to an event. Detection of a plurality of mobile communication devices within a predetermined location is performed. An event is identified corresponding to the predetermined location and a current time. The mobile communication devices are notified to enable exchange of content about the event. The content is received from one or more of the mobile communication devices, wherein the content is accessible by the mobile communication devices.

TL;DR: In this article, a position location server provides a difference between satellite locations which have been computed using Almanac data and then Ephemeris data, sending only the difference between the locations and satellite clock corrections computed using the two different data types.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for efficiently transmitting location assistance information to a mobile communication device over a control channel with a minimal impact on the capacity of the control channel. A position location server provides a difference between satellite locations which have been computed using Almanac data and then Ephemeris data. Sending only the difference between the locations and satellite clock corrections computed using the two different data types, the total amount of information to be transmitted to a mobile communication device is significantly reduced. Furthermore, by providing rate of change information, the method and apparatus allows the location assistance information to remain valid for a relatively long time after it is has been received by the mobile communication device.

TL;DR: In this paper, a system, method, and computer program product of automatically connecting a mobile communication device to a communication network using a network resource classification database includes detecting a communication access point using the mobile communication devices and reporting network attributes associated with the access point to a resource classification server.
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product of automatically connecting a mobile communication device to a communication network using a network resource classification database includes detecting a communication network access point using the mobile communication device and reporting network attributes associated with the access point to a resource classification server. The server analyzes and stores the network attributes, determines auxiliary data related to the access point, and uses a rules database to determine a category identifier associated with the access point. The server creates a resource classification characterizing the access point based upon the network attributes, auxiliary data, and category identifier. The mobile communication device queries the server, receives a resource classification, and connects to an access point based upon the received resource classification.
