TL;DR: Amides as discussed by the authors showed that the reaction of chloroformamidinium chlorides with sodium cyanide in the two-phase system ether/water affords bis(di-alkylamino)malononitriles 3 with good yields.

TL;DR: The structure–activity relationships (SARs) demonstrated that the modification of the terminal benzene ring with a single electron-withdrawing substituent (fluorine atom) and the introduction of a pyridine amide chain with a strong hydrophilic group (morpholine) to the hinge region greatly improved the antitumor activity.
Abstract: A series of 4-(pyridin-4-yloxy)benzamide derivatives containing a 1,2,3-triazole fragment were designed, synthesized, and their inhibitory activity against A549, HeLa, and MCF-7 cancer cell lines was evaluated. Most compounds exhibited moderate to potent antitumor activity against the three cell lines. Among them, the promising compound B26 showed stronger inhibitory activity than Golvatinib, with IC50 values of 3.22, 4.33, and 5.82 μM against A549, HeLa, and MCF-7 cell lines, respectively. The structure-activity relationships (SARs) demonstrated that the modification of the terminal benzene ring with a single electron-withdrawing substituent (fluorine atom) and the introduction of a pyridine amide chain with a strong hydrophilic group (morpholine) to the hinge region greatly improved the antitumor activity. Meanwhile, the optimal compound B26 showed potent biological activity in some pharmacological experiments in vitro, such as cell morphology study, dose-dependent test, kinase activity assay, and cell cycle experiment. Finally, the molecular docking simulation was performed to further explore the binding mode of compound B26 with c-Met.

TL;DR: The surface enthalpy and surface entropy of aqueous solutions of morpholine and methylmorpholine have been measured at temperatures from (298.15 to 328.15) K, covering the whole range of concentration as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: The surface tension of aqueous solutions of morpholine and methylmorpholine has been measured at temperatures from (298.15 to 328.15) K, covering the whole range of concentration. The surface tension of the solutions decreases with increasing morpholine concentrations at the water-rich side, and it remains practically constant for the rest of solutions. The surface enthalpy and surface entropy have been obtained from the temperature variation of the surface tension at constant mole fraction. The surface entropy of these aqueous solutions shows a nonrandom behavior at very low concentrations of morpholine and of methylmorpholine. There are two maxima (at x2 = 0.025 and x2 = 0.085) in the surface entropy of morpholine (2) + water (1) mixtures; methylmorpholine (3) + water (1) mixtures show one (at x3 = 0.048). The surface enthalpies are similar to the surface entropies. The binding constants of morpholine and methylmorpholine on the water surface were calculated, and in both cases, the binding constants are...

TL;DR: In this article, a C 5 -C 9 derivatives are made by reacting a C 9 lactone with an aminoalkyl derivative, e.g., N-(3-aminopropyl) morpholine, to form an adduct having a hydroxyl group on one end thereof and a tertiary amino nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring group on the other end thereof, and then reacting the adduct with an ethylene-C 3 to C 28 alpha-olefin copolymer or terpolymer which has from about 0.2 to about 5
Abstract: Polymer C 5 -C 9 derivatives are made by reacting a C 5 -C 9 lactone with an aminoalkyl derivative, e.g., N-(3-aminopropyl) morpholine, to form an adduct having a hydroxyl group on one end thereof and a tertiary amino nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring group on the other end thereof, and then reacting the adduct with an ethylene-C 3 to C 28 alpha-olefin copolymer or terpolymer which has from about 0.2 to about 5 wt. % of ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid units grafted thereto, e.g., maleic anhydride ethylene-propylene copolymer. The resulting polymeric C 5 -C 9 lactone derivatives are usful per se as multifunctional oil soluble additives for fuel and lubricating oil compositions, including concentrates containing the additives.

TL;DR: The morpholine salt, cyclohexylamine salt and tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane salt were used as standards for the determination of cholesterol in biological fluids as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: Stable, water-soluble, substantially pure organic salts of cholesteryl hemisuccinate selected from the group consisting of the morpholine salt, the cyclohexylamine salt and the tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane salt and methods for their use. The claimed water-soluble cholesterol salts are useful as standards for the determination of cholesterol in biological fluids.
